I purchased a sofa from Modular Home Concepts in May 2016 and part payment of the sofa was made via check on the date of purchase. Multiple phone calls were made to determine the delivery of the purchased item. However, never received a concrete answer/date from the vendor. In September, out of frustration, we cancelled the order and requested the payment made to be refunded. Since then the vendor has been elusive and not been traceable. Multiple phone calls, voice messages, emails were sent but there has been no response. I want the payment made to be refunded as soon as possible.
NJ's furniture store Modular home concepts( *** *** *** carlstadt, NJ 07072) which is now operating under the name Modern home concept has not delivered the furniture for close to months
We ordered a sectional leather sofa and a wall unitThe store took $as deposit which is more than 50% The furniture was booked on July 2nd, It was not delivered till October 30th, After multiple calls, they send a tempsofa which is made of a cheap fabric which we refused to take since we did not ask for it The delivery people were also arrogant and not niceTill now, none of the material we ordered was delivered and there were too many promises to deliver multiple times

weeks passedNobody called or emailed usMe and my wife started calling them ourselvesThey kept telling us that the shipping container is on its way and should be in United States in a few daysOf course, each time we trusted themA few times we organized house events and family get togethers, but had to cancel everything the last moment because the living room set still wasn't deliveredBesides, my mother has difficulty walking and has back problemsIt's extremely important for her to have a comfortable couch to sit onInstead, we had to purchase a plastic chairs because we already spent our budget for a new furniture
