Chamisa School of Driving strives to be one of the best driving schools in Norther New Mexico. Completion certificates are given when a student completes the class. As co-owner and Instructor I WILL NOT GIVE A COMPLETION CERTIFICATE WHEN A STUDENT DOES NOT COMPLETE THE CLASSROOM
PORTION AND DRIVING PORTIONMy Completion certificates are in a secure area, and our office help does not have access to them. As far as the TEXT is concerned, I would need to see the TEXT or otherwise it is all hear sayI will complete this student as soon as she calls the driving school to schedule driving time. has provided quality Drivers Education Classes since 1987.  We take great pride in the services we provide.Chamisa takes great pride that we charge less then any other Driving School in Northern New Mexico.  All other driving schools charge $375- $400, while Chamisa School of Driving only charges $250.  If you break down the hours and driving time, we are making less than minimum wage.During the second week of instruction, it was communicated to parents and students during registration, that we would be testing our students in the new "Tapestry" in order for our students to receive their driving permits. The "Tapestry" is a Department of Motor Vehicle test, which Chamisa School of driving offers as a free service, so that our students are tested in the school they are enrolled in.  It is a convenience to the students. The "Tapestry" is a very controlled exam that requires safety procedures and requirements, where only one computer can be used to protect identities of our students information and Tax ID numbers.  I am only following the safety procedures that are asked of us from the State of New Mexico.All of my instructors including myself are licensed teachers and school administrators. We are the only school in the state of New Mexico that meets this requirement. We are very professional and know how to deal with students and parents. I have addressed professionalism with my staff, who are required to take professional development in student and parent communication.  I will continue to make this a requirement.I understand that you were scheduled for a family vacation, I could not or my staff could not give your child a final exam without him finishing up the course, which is a requirement of the State of New Mexico.Your child could not be scheduled to drive unless he received his learners permit.  Upon his receipt of his permit, then the child would be scheduled to drive.I want to assure you that your child will receive the best quality Drivers Education Class, if you are not satisfied communicate with me at [redacted] or [redacted].Professionally,Ruben S[redacted] (Owner of Chamisa School of Driving)
