[redacted] came out to our house to see what needed to be done to stop a leak in my skylight. He thought he arrived a little late but was actually right on time. He advise me that it was most likely a seal that needed to be re-caulked. He advised that if further damage was found he would let me know and give me an estimate. He had fantastic customer service and I was called before and after the work was completed. I would highly recommend this company and couldn't be happier with their work. The price was more than fair for the quality of work his company performed.

I chose Watry Homes because of the initial friendliness and helpfulness of [redacted] over the phone. He patiently answered all of my questions over multiple phone calls. The guy who came out to repair my leaking skylight was on time and professional. He performed the work quickly and efficiently. He recapped the issue he found and how he had fixed it before leaving. I would definitely recommend Watry Homes.

We just had Watry Homes install Hardie Plank siding on our 30+ year old home, and we are extremely pleased with our experience! There was no high-pressure sales pitch to start, and once we chose to go ahead with the job, work started within 2 weeks. The install team was efficient, neat, and very accommodating. All our questions and concerns were quickly addressed by both the owner and the team. Phone calls were always returned in a timely manner, and the entire operation went smoothly from start to finish. Our house looks beautiful! Getting many compliments from neighbors, friends, and family!

Review: We contracted with Watry Homes to re-do our roof and put up new gutters in 2010. At that time, they were aware that our house had some unique construction, and that we were having trouble with ice build up on the roof during winter. The salesman indicated that building a cricket would solve the problem. The salesman viewed the inside and outside of the roof construction and bid us a fair price. After the job was finished, there were issues regarding the roof nails coming through our eaves. We split the cost for the repair that was suggested (inserting plywood on the underside to cover the nail holes), resulting in another cost to us. Further problems were noted in winter when the drainage issue did not subside. Watry Homes was called on a day when there had been a thaw, and water was observed dripping from the an interior hallway light fixture near the placement of the cricket, externally. A representative came and cleared ice on the roof, thinking that this would solve the problem. We now have stud marks in our ceiling as a result of the water that came in over the hallway. It was noted at that time that there was also a hole that was not filled at the time of the roofing job (It was created previously, but should have been filled so that water and vermin did not come in). As a result of the water that came in when the spring thaw came and the hole in the roof, we were inundated by ants the following summer (two different kinds). Once the hole was filled with a form of roofing tar in the fall (after 6 months and a number of e-mails/phone calls requesting assistance), the problem with the ants subsided. We continue to have issues with our roof drainage and are consulting with another contractor at this point. He has indicated that portions of the roof had the ice and water shield cut short, which is resulting in the rotting of fascia board on portions of the house. He has also stated that we should have been advised to add insulation to the roof in order to improve the efficiency of the house. (Watry Homes only brought up the need for insulation after being asked to deal with the ice issues on the roof during the winter of 2010-2011.)Desired Settlement: We would like Watry Homes to assume monetary responsibility for the rotten fascia boards (installation and purchase) by our current contractor, as well as any costs that arise as a result from repairing damage that occurred because of the failed cricket and opening left in our roof. We are not sure how to go about fixing the problem with the ice and water shield, but if there is a way, it seems right that they would also assume financial responsibility for that problem as well. We do not want the repairs done by Watry Homes.

We were able to get into touch with [redacted], and he did come out to our home to look at the problems we had. After seeing the issues, he offered to complete interior and exterior improvements and was also willing to support efforts to re-roof one section of the roof which had been particularly problematic. Workmen were sent on three occasions to ensure that work was done completely and properly. [redacted] also apologized for the customer service we received in response to our initial concerns, which led us to pursue a Revdex.com complaint. As a result, we would like to update our complaint (ID [redacted]) to indicate that the resolution is satisfactory.

We used Watry Homes to replace the HardiPlank cement siding on our home. The home is 14 years old but the original siding was never installed correctly and we wanted a contractor we could trust to do it right, as this was a very large and unwelcome
expense.
What attracted us to Watry Homes to begin with was their expertise with HardiPlank products, then they supplied the winning bid. We are very happy we chose to go with this company. From beginning to end, everyone we came in contact with was professional, knowledgeable, accommodating, pleasant and highly skilled, with the end result even better than expected. Management was extremely responsive, understanding and helpful, and the crew working on the job was superior. Not only did they do an excellent job on the siding, they went out of their way to accommodate every extra request we made and they kept our yard clean and picked up each afternoon before leaving for the day.
Our home is fairly large, tall and sits on a slope. They tackled all of that without a problem. If you are looking for a skilled and knowledgeable contractor with very pleasant and accommodating employees to do quality work on your home, we would highly recommend Watry Homes.

We chose Watry Homes, LLC due to the courteous salesmen and competitive quote. The crew showed up early and immediately started with the tear off the front of the house and the garage. The tear off of 4 layers of existing shingles created a lot of debris, but the crew worked diligently to keep our yard and our neighbors yards clean. The crew worked hard and even stayed until dusk to finish the shingles on the front of the house so the roof would be prepared for the next day's storms. After the day of inclement weather, the crew returned and finished the remainder of the house and installed the roof vents. All of the work performed was done with the utmost professionalism and they didn't cut any corners. Flashing was used in all of the required places and an appropriate color choice was made to blend in with the new shingle color. Overall, I am very satisfied with the quality work performed and the new roof has really improved the curb appeal of our house. Also, I never found any shingles or nails in yard which is extremely important with 3 young children running around. I would not hesitate to use Watry Homes again in the future or recommend them to anyone considering a roof project for their house.

Our whole house siding project went smoothly right from the start. We dealt directly with the owner, Scott Watry, as the project planner. His workers were pleasant and easy to work with. The work was done quickly and they cleaned up when they were done. The end result looks great!

I have never had such a positive experience with any vendor in my life. Watry Homes provided re-siding, trim and caulking to a condominium building on Milwaukee's East Side. They really knew their stuff when it came to pros and cons of various types of siding options. Their work was thorough, meticulous, and efficient. We had Watry Homes put on new roof with skylights, build chimney sadddle and apply step flashing. Excellent people and company. Had a reasonable bid with a lot of details, so I knew what we were signing up for. Was the only roofing contractor that actually had shingle samples at the time of the first visit, which also helped clear up ambiguity for the project. Good and easy communication via email. Job got started a little bit later than we planned, and took a day longer, but I was impressed with the efficiency and professionalism of the crew. Clean-up was thorough and more importantly the roof looks beautiful. Had concerns about the cooler temperatures when the roof was put on, but [redacted] gave me his word and absolute guarantee, and put to rest any worry that I had about that. I had been in contact with [redacted] for over two years regarding this project as it went from owner occupied to a rental. He was always very professional, courteous and flexible. Other companies I had quote the job had very high pressured sales tactics and expected me to meet during their hours. As a family business [redacted] made the time to meet around a busy schedule. The work they did was great and my neighbors were extremely complimentary of not only the finished product but the workers. They were also very courteous and kept the site very clean and each night it was picked up. I’m very happy with the work and the price; I will definitely use Watry LLC again for any construction work.
