Dear Melissa,   We have been in business since 1999 and have only had a few complaints in all of our years in business.  It is our goal to please our customers and provide them with quality products that they can work with to make money.  We have a full staff of certified diesel...

mechanics in which, try to insure the quality of all the trucks and equipment that leave our facility.  I, as the owner get with my mechanics on each item and ask them to verify that it is in sound working condition.  We are not selling new products, we are selling reconditioned pre owned products, and therefore perfection is not obtainable.     We do not warranty anything that we sell due to the fact that they are pre owned; in this case, the unit was twelve years of age with over 500,000 miles.  When the unit left our facility it was in perfect working order.  It left with no warranty and documents were signed by the customer to that effect.  We did help the customer with a small item that he had trouble with shortly after he made the purchase.  Large items that happen after it leaves our facility without warranty cannot be fixed or repaired by us or at our expense.  If we repaired and fixed every machine or truck that left our facility for every customer that had a problem with a used piece of equipment and or truck for the time they owned it, we could not remain in business.  I would love to have that capability but we do not mark up our products to a price in which we can afford to repair everything that happens to a used piece of equipment and or truck after it leaves our facility.   For this reason, we sell all items AS IS WHERE IS NO WARRANTY NOT CERTIFIED which is in all caps at the top of every invoice sent to the customer and the customer’s lender if they finance.  We work with many customers every day and we have sold thousands upon thousands of used trucks and pieces of used equipment with very few complaints to the Revdex.com.  Like I stated, we try our best to make sure we sell quality items but they are used, sometimes over twenty years old that have been used for construction.  Construction is rugged, rough and abusive on trucks and equipment and after many years of use, you cannot possibly make them like brand new again, this is just not possible.  We do our very best to recondition them to provide good service to our customers for as long as possible, however, it is used, in some cases very used and could very well brake down the next day.  They have many moving components that get heavy abuse from the environment in which they work so you never know what a day may bring.  I not only own the dealership that sell pre owned trucks and equipment, I also own a construction company and trucking company and I have to deal with these types of things every day.  Sometimes I buy trucks or equipment from multibillion dollar auction companies, sometimes they are broke down before I get them home.  The multibillion dollar auction company sells these items AS IS WHERE IS, if it breaks down before I get out of their parking lot, it is my responsibility at that point to repair it at my expense.  They do not or will not assist me for any repairs at any time, even if it does not make it out of their parking lot.  This is an industry in which we are selling used truck and equipment for way less than the cost of a new one.  We do our best to make sure each and every item is safe and sound when it leaves our facility but we cannot guarantee that a twelve year old truck will go without any problems.   It would give me great pleasure to assist each and every customer I have with every issue they have with something they purchased from us for as long as they own it but this is simply not possible.  The cost of working on used trucks and equipment is vast and we are just not capable of taking on an expense to maintain our client’s pre owned product after they purchase from us and remain in business.      Best Regards,     Richard [redacted] Owner
