Watson Finance Co Inc Reviews (4)

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.
Regards,*** ***
The business did not offer me anything! I have all of my receipts (except for maybe or 4) that clearly states I was never late! Also, no one told me to go to watson to make my car payment, if that was true then they would have never let me be late times! The whole situation is messed up, I thought I was doing a good thing building my credit up and paying my bill on time that was all for noting (if I intentionally was late that many times! I want my title and *** motors and watson finance can come to an agreement as to who will pay what and how much is owed! I paid my 300$ car payment on time for months as agreed and I was never aware of being late times until the day I first contacted Revdex.comWatson didn't send a letter nor did they contact me saying I owed them 300$, they made me believe that I owed a car payment! It's just morally wrong to get over on someone that wasn't in control of anything! You may speak with Mr*** at *** motors and confirm that my whole statement is true! Mr*** contacted me and told me he would get it straightened out with watson, because although I made my payment on time that they would wait until they get a few payments before taking my to ***, therefore Mr*** or his son would make a phone call to watson evertyt in I made a payment thinking that there would be no late fee!! And to add to the truth of what's going on there were numerous people making their car payment at *** motors and not watson finance!! One of which happens to be a neighbor of mines and she also said that they never told her to make her payments at watson!!

The bottom line is they never contacted me by phone or mail and im not paying $6000

8pt;">In reference
to complaint filed by  [redacted] and
[redacted], the payment on the account was past due from December 8th and from
January 8th.  The last time a payment was
made on this loan was on December 4th.  The
payment made on December 4th was for the November 8th payment.   Mr.
and Ms. [redacted] would not communicate. We attempted to contact them by their cell
phone numbers. The numbers were disconnected or changed.  We also attempted to leave messages with
friends and relatives which were on their reference sheet. We were unsuccessful.
We are not mind readers. It was the [redacted]’s  responsibility to keep in touch with us. The bottom
line is they did not communicate. The account  was assigned to a repossession agency. The
vehicle was located and repossessed for non-payment. When a vehicle is picked up
for non-payment it is our policy for the customer to make other arrangements and
pay our loan in full.  In closing, we are
not in the car business. We do not want anybody’s vehicle. We have sent a repossession
letter which is required by law.  Mr. and
Mrs.  [redacted] have until February 10th
to pay the loan off.

[redacted]

Ms. [redacted] purchased the vehicle from [redacted] Motors. When the
loan was made Ms. [redacted] was in our office and was given a payment book. We also
encourage our clients to mail or...

bring the payments directly to Watson Finance and
not pay the payments at the dealer’s car lot. Why? To simply keep issues like
this from happening. Ms. [redacted] elected to make payments at the dealer’s car
lot rather than at our office. The payment book clearly states when the payment
is due, the amount of the payment and the amount of the late charge. Each time
a payment is 11 days late a late charge is taken out of the next applied payment.
Since the payments were late getting to
us, late charges were accessed on Ms. [redacted] account as we do for ALL accounts.
Ms. [redacted] payment was late 20 times. Each late fee was $15.00.  Again, since the late fees are taken out of
the payment each month, a principal balance of $300.00 is now due.  This is also the same issue which occasionally comes up with clients
who mail payments.  We cannot be responsible
for when the mail is delivered by the post office. It is the client’s responsibility
to make sure that payments are received at our office within the grace period.
