Waukesha State Bank

I wanted to warn others about the mortgage lending process at Waukesha State Bank for an accepted offer I had on a house located in the City of Milwaukee about 10 miles away from the Waukesha branch. After forwarding all pertinent information including applications and financial documents to the first gentleman I worked with at the bank he stopped responding to various calls and emails I made with him. I received a call one evening from another gentleman at the bank who let me know that the individual I was originally working with was no longer employed by the bank and he had found a few of my financial documents, but did not know where the rest of the documents were. As the clock was ticking I quickly gathered up all of my documents and forwarded them to the bank again. However, the response rate of this individual was terrible- I would typically have to leave two voicemails and one email to even get an update to learn that my documents weren't even in underwriting after two weeks. Even though I was pre-approved from the first individual, I expressed how nervous I was about not meeting the closing date. It was days before close before the gentleman contacted me back stating the mortgage was in underwriting, and it was not until 5pm the day before I was supposed to close that he called me back stating that the bank was unwilling to lend to a house in the City of Milwaukee. I was confused as he verbally told me that the bank can lend outside the county, although most loans are within Waukesha County. He requested that I push back the date of close for as long as I could (which was $300, and $100 a day) while he researched other options with other banks, friends, and, even with the first gentleman I was originally working with at the bank. Long story short, I found a different lending institution to provide the mortgage, but my close was extended, costed more, and all for the the poor service and lack of communication that Waukesha State Bank provided.
I felt it was necessary to contact the Revdex.com because I felt uncomfortable that (1) my financial documents were physically lost after an employee left the organization, (2) the lack of response from the new gentleman, (3) a last minute underwriting, (4) the new gentleman suggesting lending options with his various friends including the ex-employee.
