Wax and Nails Reviews (4)

The business said that the nails were done on Saturday and the customer did not call until Tuesday to say she would like a refund. The business said that they have to look at the nails before they would offer to fix them or refund... them. She waited four days to let them know about the problem and the business can’t refund after that much time. When she came in on Tuesday to have them fixed she left without complaining about them and thanked the technician before she left. The customer was rude over the phone and all the business was trying to do was try and fix the issue even after the customer waited so long to call.

Regards,
[redacted] And yes I was rude because the woman would not allow me to speak so I became irritated. Then she said that the acrylic only last for 24 hours and that's a load of crap.  I called Tuesday morning after having them done Saturday evening which is all of 3 entire days that it took for the water from washing my hands and showering to get underneath the nail.  It's called abnormal wear and tear that just isn't suppose to happen prior to 2 weeks.  Their business is a sham and I've put a 1 star review on [redacted] along with photos of this trashy, so called "fill in." In addition, when I showed up to allow them to see the nails the same woman I spoke on the phone refused to repeat the claim she made that the acrylic nail only last 24 hours because I told her I wanted it to be recorded. She called she could not hear very well and insisted that someone else help me, yet she heard just fine over the phone.

Review: I had my nails "filled in" on this past Saturday, March 9th. During my visit, I waited 45 minutes after being told the wait was only 15 minutes. Once being seen, I had to ask the nail rep to even out the nails as if he didn't notice they were uneven. This occured directly after a previous customer complained about the same issue. I left after compensating the business $25 for their services assuming that if all I had to deal with was uneven nails, that it would be fine. After washing my hands and/or bathing through Monday I noticed the nails began to lift up where the acrylic was applied for the fill in. I contacted the shop to advise, man answered, I explained, then he brought a woman to the phone. The phone disconnected. I called back, explained, the woman speaking asked for me to come in to let them see and fix them. I advised her I will let her see them but I do not want them to fix them because I do not wish to go through the same experience (because if they could have done better, they would have the 1st time). She then stated that it was 3 days later and acrylic nails only last 24hours!! That is total BS!! Maybe at her shop, but no where else I've been: acrylic lasts 2weeks period. I explained that I wanted a refund. She became a bit arrogant and spoke over top of me. I became irritated because she wouldnt listen and rude as well. I did advise her that if she would shut her mouth long enough to hear me speak she'd understand that I would come in to let her see, but I did not want them to fix my nails, just a refund. She continued to ignore me and that's when I advised her I would escalate to the Revdex.com and she gave me the impression that she did not care.Desired Settlement: I would definitely like a refund of $25.00 and I vow to never go there again. My nails look horrible!! I will stop by there today on the way home from work to allow her to see my nails but I'm sure she will not agree to the refund I am requesting.
