I used way.com for four-day parking in NYC near the cruise pier. I booked one month in advance and was surprised by the low rate, so I contacted way.com to confirm and they assured me the rate was correct after contacting the garage. Upon returning from my vehicle, the parking garage did not recognize the QR code sent to me by way.com. The attendants made several attempts to validate the voucher and eventually allowed me to take my vehicle after nearly 45 minutes of arguing and near police intervention. I immediately contacted way.com to learn what happened and they called me back twice, but still have not told me why their voucher was not honored.
