I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below By way of review, I have created a timeline Early 10/2015, contacted Wayne Pata for electric and [redacted] who had suggested how to resolve bathroom plumbing issues, by dropping kitchen ceiling to expose plumbing .122k of oct,19-13/ contacted by Wayne Pata to advise needed to drop ceiling and would begin job on 10/26/10/21/ I removed kitchen plaster ceiling to expose bathroom plumbing10/26/ Contract created by Wayne per suggestion from my son for work that MrPata would be doing on my house which was signed by both myself and him on that day Contract included opening up wall from kitchen to diningroom, drywall installation, plastering, replacement of kitchen lighting fixtures, installation of new receptacles in kitchen, upgrade of basement lights, moving electric box to outside, removal of electric plugs on outside of house with siding installation to cover holes,.10/26-30/- Since Wayne had injured himself the previous weekend, the majority of work at my house was performed by his employee *** This work included removal of plaster, opening of wall from kitchen to diningroom, and moving wires on wall to accommodate opening Basement lights were put in as well as a wire from electric receptacle for dischwasher All the junction boxes in the basement were exposed, as well as a junction box that [redacted] created in kitchen which had exposed wires and not cappedAgani, when [redacted] came to my residence, I asked him his expertise Was he the drywall guy or plumber and he said that he had years experience and knew how to do the job requested [redacted] had been at my house for a week with Wayne showing up at various intervals I found that based on ***s communication, I did not trust his work as it took him a very long time to perform what I assumed were simple tasks Also, as this being my first time doing a major job at my house, assumed that the plumbing problem, which was my initial focus, would be resolved I reviewed the contract and it stated unclog drain, which had been done but my concern was the sink was still clogged, cast iron pipes still were being utilized as well as rusty water was still seen in the bathroom sink [redacted] had replaced a pipe that was clogged and advised me the issue was resolved [redacted] began to put up drywall on the kitchen ceiling and along the opening from the kitchen to diningroom to button up the areaI called [redacted] to review my concerns about the plumbing, crooked plugs put in kitchen, uneven support beam put in my ***, open electric junctions in basement and kitchen on Friday, 10/and agreed that he would come over on 11/ I did not trust any of ***s work [redacted] reviewed the situation, explained why he was not at my house initially, and called a master licensed plumber to review the plumbing I hired this person to do the plumbing to my satisfaction11/1-11/6/ [redacted] advised me that he had spoken to Wayne, had advised Wayne that a plumber would be doing work I was of the understanding that Wayne had been informed that his services were done It was also my understanding that if a permit was needed for such work, that it was the responsibility of the contractor to obtain such since he was doing the work It is also my understanding that a permit is not needed for electric work, and can not be obtained by a non-licensed person \\I had put outside all of MrPatas supplies, tools and whatever he had left in the basement on the outside of the house for him to pick up the first week of November as he had other workThe plumber began to redo the plumbing sometime mid-NovemberI contacted various other electricians, as well as Arrow Kitchens All of these individuals were concerned about the electric they were able to see One electrician told me that based on the basement situation, if the work performed (by MrPata) was that messy and inefficient, he would be concerned about anything he had done The electrician that actually did the work beginning end of March, eventually advised me of replacing and redoing all of MrPatas work as the modifications h or [redacted] had done had created a hazardous condition in my home Plumbing issue aside, as I understand per MrPatas review, that he is not a plumber My concern is, however, of the work done during that week that was not done correctly Granted the lights work in the basement The rest of the work is questioned To put myself in a position where the house could easily have burned, not have a dedicated line to the dishwasher, cross lines, have wires burned, is the reason for this complaint The time it took, or the plumbing is not relevant Besides, the response made by MrPata is mostly irrelevant I understand he had to buy supplies The supplies he purchased were worth about $200, and I initially requested to be reimbursed for the remainder Based on my being a family friend, or that I briefly dated MrPata years ago is irrelevant to the quality of work done I was going to let this entire situation go, but safety is a priority for me as well as ethical work The congruency of the performance during this process is quite surprising and remain solid on the request for my deposit provided to MrPata for his work that had to be entirely redone That being said, I was not planning on contacting MrPata for Regards, Barbara [redacted]

Apparently I am not understanding what is being asked for. Responce to [redacted] request for a refund. Absolutely not. Her recognition of facts are incorrect. As I have suggested before. Tell Barb to take me to small claims court. I will be more than willing to end this in court. If this is going to be an on-going listing with the Revdex.com and Barb continues to keep this going, I will take this to court myself as I stated in my last corespondance. I will stay tuned to whatever continues here. If it is your policy to offer this conflict with the public? If that turns out to be the case. I will inform you of any judges determination of this matter  and you can also publis his finding with this case.

I just got back from visiting my daughter in Denver. Let me off the top of my head reply to [redacted] absurd position as to our Oct 2015 contract. To start I would like to add that this was to make the house appealing to be sold. I personally found it odd to put the amount of money in the house...

to be sold. This is why my price was close to half the going rate to someone who is a family friend and whom I dated for awhile. I purchased all the materials with $1000 down payment. I started a job to upgrade the electrical service and add some new lighting and receptacle circuits in her Kitchen. She also wanted to change her entrance way from kitchen to dining room. Water lines and drain in upstairs bathroom were slow. Once kitchen ceiling was removed we could see the water and drain lines. We tried snaking the lines and replacing a small section of the drain connection that was almost corroded closed inside. The pipes could not be easily replaced as they were set in a concrete floor. We of course are not plumbers and were not contracted to do so. This is what happens when customers start adding ideas as they go along. We also opened the doorway from the kitchen to the dining room. Was also in the midst of upgrading lighting in the basement. To make a long story short, we worked there for about three days. On the next scheduled work day we were told at the door that we could not work that day because of some issues or another. No phone call, no text, just an inconsiderate close out. Which wasted a whole non-productive day for me. Knowing [redacted] I let a few days go by. Called and left text to her with no answers. On 11/2/15 I received a text that she had a plumber coming by to change out her bathroom lines. I know the plumber well and have worked with him often. On 11/3/2015 I was told in a text that " Today's a horrible day, lots going on here...will have to put you off for a couple days" I had most of my tools and equipment which I needed to work elsew here while waiting for [redacted] to finish with her plumber. She had most of my things left outside for me to pick up around the 5th of December. Needed a large roll of wire and some saws I needed and texted [redacted] for them on the 6th of Dec. Called and texted for 5 days with no answer. I then received a text on the 11th of Dec that she couldn't answer right now and to send her a text. I texted [redacted] back that day and asked where we were on coming back and finishing the job. That was the last I heard from her until April 6th 2016 when she decided to demand a refund.Besides contacting the Revdex.com I subsequently was informed that [redacted] went on an Irondequoit website and slandered my name and business in public. I also found that [redacted] never obtained a permit from the town of Irondequiot for her work on her house. Needless to say Miss [redacted] has left herself open for me to sue her for breach of contract for not being forthwith with me and dropping contact for 4 months. Sueing her for slander and last but not least, turning her into the the town for working without a permit. I would strongly suggest Ms [redacted] drop any and all of her vindictive, irrational behavior. Caused by whatever mental disorder she is suffering from.  Yours truely, [redacted] Pata
