Wayne's Auto Parts & Chroming Reviews (4)

Revdex.com spoke with the business owner and they have been in contact with the customer about the on going search for the rear bumper. He has been in contact with the customer about this on going...

search and the customer is aware they are still actively looking into this.

[redacted] statement of the account history is
mostly accurate except for the only piece we were short on was the rear bumper.
The bumper we received to restore was incorrect and that caused the delay. Nonetheless,
our communication and response time for the [redacted] family was certainly below
our standards. We have rectified the problem and have a rear bumper being
shipped directly to their home and should arrive no later than June 27, 2016.
My humble apologies to the [redacted] family. Thank you.

[redacted] Dear [redacted], I am in receipt of
your letter dated June 9, 2016. Since the Fall of 2015, I have not received any
telephone calls, correspondence, emails or fax reports from any representative
from Wayne’s Auto Parts and Chroming stating the intention to continue an
ongoing searching for the rear bumper. Therefore I dispute this allegation made
by the business owner that he is/was making an effort to locate/replace my
missing bumper. The total car parts were in his possession for almost 2
years to date and duplicate parts can be found via an internet search.Thank you in advance for your continued efforts to help me
with this matter,

Review: My now deceased spouse entered into a contract agreement with this merchant prior to his sudden death in March of 2015. Contract agreement included the merchant providing a service to chrome (refinish) multiple car parts from an antique Ford truck & Falcon car. The merchant billed to my deceased husband’s credit card complete payment for the service. I learned of the agreement when I noted charges to the account in April of 2015.

The merchant was contacted at that time and job completion was promised in June of 2015. In June, the merchant was contacted and I was informed that the job not completed - due to family emergency. I was understanding and I was promised the car parts in July of 2015. At that time (and after making numerous calls to the merchant), the owner asked permission to showcase some of the chrome parts in order to advertise his business. The request was granted but with the stipulation that the parts be received by no later than September of 2015. After making many additional telephone calls to the merchant, car parts were personally delivered in October of 2015 by the merchant to my home - only to find out that the order was an incomplete order.

Additional car parts were delivered (11/2015)- again, after making numerous telephone calls to the merchant and again determining that the order was an incomplete order. I received only one of two car bumpers that was in his possession (missing one car bumper and several side trim pieces). The merchant was again contacted and promised "to make it right, within three weeks." I informed him that I could not believe that an incorrect bumper was received. I had no previous notice prior to 11/2015 that there was a discrepancy in the car parts that he possessed. From that date, the merchant has neglected to deliver any additional car parts to my home or make any attempt to contact me (return calls) or refund any monies paid for services not rendered (or for lack of the return of the bumper - correct or incorrect).Desired Settlement: I would like an immediate completion of the job, with correct bumper delivered. If the owner can not provide me with the correct, chromed bumper ([redacted])then I am requesting a refund for services not provided (failure to fulfill contract agreement).
