Concerning Miss [redacted] , This customer called us after a storm and said she had roof damage We tried to get there to fix it for her as fast as we could However due to employee issues and schedule back ups it took us a couple weeks to get there she claims because we were not able to get there the day of the storm that somehow we should be responsible for the water damage to her ceiling We advised her to make an insurance claim She complained repeatedly so we agreed not to charge her for the roof repair That's right, we did the repair for FREE! She then a month later sends us an estimate for her ceiling repair of 1500.00! About what the repair should have cost that we did for FREE Now remember we are obviously not responsible for the weather and storms I don't really know what else to say People will complain about anything I just do not get it [redacted] President WCC ROOFING CO

Damage to my driveway when WCC delivered the roofing materials
The gutter WCC damaged after they began work on my roof I was only having the roof replaced and not the gutters since they were in good condition
Exposed Nail Heads in several locations after WCC installed the roof
Installation of cracked shingles on the roof edge venting system
Missing shingles on the roof edge venting system
They came back a week later to correct the issues associated of with the installation of the roof after I contacted them however in my opinion it should be have been done
correctly the first time What if you are not capable of getting up onto your roof to inspect the job?
My other issue was that it took the owner of WCC over a month before he came out to inspect the damage done to my driveway by his delivery company That amount of time doesn't in my opinion lend itself to a company that is very concerned about their customers
As for the driveway damage done by WCC I had to file a property damage claim with my insurance company since the offer made by WCC in my opinion would not have properly corrected the damage to the driveway
I would definitely not recommend using this company

I am rejecting this response because:The year warranty is not upI made my last payment Aug and my issues during this year time period have not been addressedI have pictures of damage done to our home from the roof being left exposed while working on itI also have pictures of the rotten wood they roofed overI have more pictures but was unable to add themI could only add four pictures on the attachmentsI have another shingle that has fallen off my garageI still have a huge water bubble in my epdmMy slate is not done properly on my mansard with ungalvanized nails where my contract states all copper nails would be usedThe top two rows of slate don't have a head lap at all and water is running underneath my slate ruining the wood frame on my mansardMy epdm is not properly done either the fasteners are spaced to far apart causing my redboard under my epdm do bowThe ledge around my mansard is leaking and the redboard feels like a sponge it is wet with waterI want WCC to pay for another roofing company to fix my roof properlyThey are not competent to do slate roofing or epdmThey bid my job and I Paid them in fullIt is not my fault they lost moneyI want to be compensated for the damage done to my home, and to fix all of the problems done to my roof by improper roofingI want another company to fix these issues and for WCC to pay for this

We have previously stated our position on this matter We have completed all work for Mrs*** we were originally hired to do Plus many additional areas of work which were not included in the agreement but we completed anyway At this point we are several years past the original agreement and no longer have any warranty obligation to the property

We always stand behind our work In this case Mrs*** wasn't willing to pay the proper amount of money to do the job right and we shouldn't be held responsible for it Regardless the warranty period is over and we have lost over Thousand dollars trying to please her We have no further responsibility to this property And we have received no such inspection report Mrs*** should hire someone else to do the additional work we are not interested in working with her anymore

The company WCC roofing never addressed the many issues with my roof. Here are pictures of damage, a written contract, and water bubble in my epdm that was never properly fixed. The top picture is a water bubble in my epdm, they put holes in my inline gutter that and added caulk this will not hold up in a gutter they tried to replicate a custom piece of metal used as a water diverter but took it down because the roofer said it looked warped and not good. Now I have damage to my new epdm with all these holes in my gutter that will leak, rotten wood they roofed overThey also used in galvanized nails and in the contract they were supposed to use copper nails. These in galvanized nails will rust and the slate will fall off the roof. The spacers that hold down the epdm are spaced to far apart causing my roof to bow none of these issues have been addressed. Please reopen this case. They sent a substandard crew out because I am so far away. I am an hour out of St. Louis.  The roofing job has many issues and was not done properly. I spent $29,600 on this roof and am left with water damage, and a roof that is leaking, rotten wood, slates not done properly, epdm not done properly. In Regards to the Complaint received by Mrs. [redacted].  We agreed to install a new roofing system over her current one on a 100 Year plus old historic home that was in bad shape structurally.  We explained to the owner that it had structural deficiencies and that we would only be able to do...

so much.  Once we commenced work in 2014 she began micro managing our workers by literally standing over them while they worked.  She would get there cell numbers and contact them directly with her many details she wanted changed. This practice went on for over a year.  At one point when we were supposed to remove two rows of slate to run the new material behind but when we attempted this all her other slate tiles began breaking and she demanded we replace them.  We ended up replacing 90 Percent of her slate roofing in which we never agreed to do and she refused to pay us for. We tried our best to satisfy her to no avail.  When we final were completed she then continued to call us with minor repairs and then even tried to have us do additional work.  At this point her project is beyond the warranty period and we have no obligation.  In total we lost over 14K doing this job for her I have attached the cost breakdown listing all of the expenses.  I do not believe this should reflect on our company at all.  Her home is very old and she basically got 14K of free work!  We just cant continue to throw money away on someone who wants perfection but wont pay for it.  PLEASE HELP.

Our insurance company recommended WCC Roofing and we were very pleased with the company as well as our salesman, Shawn Kendall. A problem developed and the matter was handled quickly and easily. We were very pleased with WCC's reaction and Shawn's immediate assistance. We would definitely recommend WCC Roofing.
