We ordered a PTAC A/C unit from Bailey A/C It took several weeks to get someone to our home to install the unit An unqualified tech was sent out He had our framer change the A/C opening twice The tech left the installation instructions & screws inside the unit itself He also used an incorrect (2-wire) wire Came back the following day & ran a 4-wire wire under the insulation The framers had to the insulation again The tech couldn't install the thermostat, so it took several weeks to get Bill Bailey out to complete the workHe said for us to use another A/C company He was going to have surgeryIt still isn't complete, so hopefully they will complete the work
On 8/29/Bailey Heating and Air installed a new evaporator coil in our AC unit We paid $and this included parts and labor He left us with a receipt that indicates his services were paid in cash Two days later, the AC unit began making noiseUpon contacting Mr***, he said he was out of town but to just keep an eye on itEight days later, on 9/8/18, the AC unit started making a horrible grinding noiseWe could not get the unit to turn off so we turned off the breakerImmediately, I contacted Mr*** and described the noise He said he was out of town at a baseball tournament and would not be home until Wednesday In desperation, I contacted Simpson’s AC CompanyMr.*** *** noticed there was a fine mist of Freon spraying from the new coil, which he said did not appear to be properly brazed inMr*** and I contacted Mr*** and told him about the problem with the new coil he installedMr*** said the coil has a year warranty, but to r
