refusing to send claim to insurance co. harassing us to make a payment before insurance does.

Lake Wales, FL 33853 (863) 676-1120 http://www.weelderlycare.com from 02/17/2020-02/18/2020. They refuse to send the claim to my insurance to be paid. They continue to harass me and are trying to enforce payment from me when the insurance will pay for most of it. Joyce has a PPO with her health insurance plan which means she has OON benefits and is able to go to private and or non participating facilities. We Elderly care has no working phone numbers that I can reach them at any longer. They are extremely non professional in their billing dept and have absolutely no empathy for us elders on a fixed income. We are working with the insurance company about this and they have done everything they can to get the claim and pay what their agreed amount will be. It's very discouraging that they are harassing me over something that can be taken care of if they would just send the documentation (claim) to the insurance.wellmed address... ***.. *** these are the claims addresses.

Desired Outcome

I just want We elderly Care to stop harassing me and send the claim to the proper department to be paid. They are wanting me to just pay all of it and then have the health insurance reimburse me. They can send it electronically with their payor ID..

In response to complaint by Mr. s..We Elderly Care, Inc was contacted by Adult Protective *ervices to provide the appropriate supervision to his wife when he was emergently transported to the hospital. Mr. stated to the APstaff he would be responsible for the bill. The son also was aware the father would be responsible for the bill. We ELderly Care sent the bill to Mr.. Mr called our office when he received the bill, requesting we send the bill to United Health Care. As we have no contract with the insurance company, we requested he pay the bill and submit for reimbursement himself. He even had the insurance company call our office. They were told the same thing. After several weeks, the office manager called again. Mr. wanted us to bill United Health Care. She explained to him he was responsible for the bill, and was welcome to submit to the insurance company, as we do not have a contract with that company. He even had the insurance company call our office, and we told them the same thing. Mr. called us once, and we have called him once, after speaking with the insurance company, and once more after not receiving payment. I don't think that is harassment. We went out in good faith when called by AP*, we fulfilled our obligation to an elderly person in need. That is what we do.
