Wessinger Construction

On August 28, 2019 I contracted *** from Wessinger Construction Inc., to repair my roof, replace my windows, paint, and repair fence on my house. At time of signing the contract I paid him the deposit of $2600. He was supposed to order the windows immediately per contract, which he did not. A few weeks later he sent the roof person to work on the roof, and I paid him an additional $1300 that day as the roof work was supposed to be completed the same day. I told him to send me pics of the work and when I saw the pics, the work was not as stated on the contract, then he said the roof work was an additional $2400, which I told him that I needed him to stick to what was stated on the contract. He told me that he was going to send the roof guy again and for me to meet with him and tell him what needed to be done on the roof, which I did, however, he never went back to inspect the roof as I expected from a licensed GC. After several weeks I contacted Mr. as I never heard back from him on the status of the windows. I received a text stating that it was his wife and that he had had an accident. I was concerned as I needed to have my work done in my house, so I asked for someone in the company to contact me. The person answering the texts, not sure who it was was upset as I insisted on finding out the status , and stated that did not want to do business. with me. I spoke to Mr. a week later and he texted me the cancelled and voided contract. As of today I have not received my full refund, which I have requested it several times. Mr. breached the contract as he cancelled it without completing the work and he did not
refund me my money. Mr. is in default of the contract therefore I am entitled of my refund.
