June 03, Dear [redacted] ***, [redacted] adopted a puppy, Australian Shepherd/Beagle Mix, from our [redacted] location on 3/30/The puppy was adopted after she filled out a adoption application, placed a $Deposit in the form of cash, then left, returned later that same day and paid the remaining $plus tax totaling $639.oo on a [redacted] Card.On 4/1/received a call from [redacted] , stating that a close friend of hers had told her they believed her rescue puppy was a pit bull mixShe was convinced by this person that the dog would end up aggressive, uncontrolable with children and was not what she wanted.She proceeded to explain to me that her friend, raises pit bull puppies & breeds their animalsI informed [redacted] that they were completely irresponsible to breed the nations number euthanized breed due to overpopulation, that the breed has no breed standardand regardless her dog was a rescue puppy that did not appear pit bull at allLater that day, as we expected, the dog showed up to be returned for wormsWhich as any animal lover knows almost every puppy has worms at one point, passed from littermates or the motherAn easy treatment, not costly whatsoever, but [redacted] s daughter came in with the puppyAs she was crying, lip quivering because she was made to get rid of the puppy she loved for some nonsensical reason, she began to tell me firmly how dare we give them a sick dogAccompanied by her boyfriend, who was very polite, she was visibly upset, so I calmed her down and tried explaining to her that, in all honesty, your mother signed the sales receipts and adoption contracts, she would have to be hereSo we had to get [redacted] on the phone, fax her a copy of the adoption release, in which she returned by faxAuthorizing her very upset daughter, to handle returning their adopted puppy or herA check was mailed, within business days to the address we had on the adoption contractTowards the end of the month the check wass sent back by the postal service for insufficient addressWhen [redacted] came in we gave her a check to cover the refund of the adoption fee, however we had just switched from [redacted] to [redacted] bank and the account numbers on our checks were wrongSo we refunded the adoption fee on her credit cardHowever [redacted] had given us the wrong card, not the one she used for the adoption feeDuring this time [redacted] s husband came back in the store on 4/7/and readopted the puppyThe credit card company called us to inform us that the refund was being denied, they could not match the sale with the refundWe had called [redacted] with no luck, she called the store after a few daysI informed her we would give her cahs and she would sign to the refundShe was aggressive, hostile and threatening to shut us downThis is why we do NOT give cash refunds because of people flip flopping aroundSo [redacted] came in the [redacted] location on 5/3/and received, signed to, $cash refundThere are several concerning factors here, first being the fact that between the complaint being filed on 5/2/and now, [redacted] has not addressed to your office she was given a FULL refundSecond that [redacted] has filed a fraudulent credit card chargeback, stating she was not present for the adoption and credit card sale on 3/30/Unfortunately for us, credit card processors instantly deduct chargeback amounts from retailer accounts and hold the funds until a decision is madeAs it stands right now [redacted] is claiming to of never signed/authorized or initiated the salea/doption on 3/30/Oddly enough she was the one who filled out an adoption contract, dated /30/14, filled out all adoption paperwork, dated /30/14, signed the credit card receipt along with her drivers license number written on the sales slip to verifyWe do this for reasons, just like this one, verifying the person signing the slip was verifiedAt this time [redacted] had paid $to Adopt a puppy, was refunded the money, her husband re adopted the puppy, [redacted] charged back on her card and was refunded $So in a sense [redacted] has paid $to Adopt the puppyAt this time we will be filing charges of credit card fraud on [redacted] unless she contacts the credit card company or the issuing bank she uses, to reverse the chargeback [redacted] also contacted people who had conducted protests against our stores, when we sold pets, to recruit their assistance in going after meUnfortunately for [redacted] , it appears she is the one who is in the wrong hereWe are no longer protested as an Adoption Rescue Center, those individuals are now welcorne in our storeIt is up to the Revdex.com on how the will proceed with this complaintI have no interest in pursuing [redacted] if she simply rights the wrong and reverses the chargebackI am sending this exact info to he credit card companyWhich by the way, after a lengthy discussion, stated they do NOTHING to go after credit card holders who initiate a fraudulent returnI informed them, that is disgusting and to do their job and pursue people comitting FRAUDMaybe your office can look into that as well.I appreciate your time in this matterSincerely,
