I had purchased a [redacted] package of four minute massagesI booked all 1st appointment Noone showsI email, call, leave voicemail.....nothinghours after my appointment time, I send an email demanding a refund do because research of the company was less than desirable (being extremely polite)I received an immediate response to my angry email saying we will reschedule you, give you $50, etcThen the MIA therapist calls me on my cell the day after to complain I got her in trouble for not showing upREALLY?!?!?!?!?! I disputed all "additional" charges with my credit card companyI theneed complained to [redacted] who refunded my package price [redacted]

I purchased a [redacted] offer for an in-home massage with this company because I was in severe pain and needed help quicklyIt was only after the purchase that I found out they had no openings for over a week in the future, so I made an appointment at the first available opening Over the next 1-1/weeks, I received a few emails from them telling me that they had not been able to find a therapist and would I please choose another date yet ANOTHER 1-WEEKS in the future! I emailed them and called and left voice messages without any response, except to get more fo these emails asking me to schedule further outSo I emailed and left more voice messages - and received NOT ONE reply from them, until the eventual day of my supposed appointment when they sent me another blasted automated email to reschedule As a last resort, I finally sent an email to them threatening to seek legal action for advertising and fraudulent practicesTHAT got an almost instant response! (of course) As soon as I sent that email to them, I found the phone number for [redacted] and told them my problemThey were wonderful! They refunded my money (even though it was way past the days they normally allow), and said they would be looking into this complaintWhile on the phone with [redacted] , I received a response to my threatening email to wemassage.caThe ONLY thing they were interested in, of course, was their reputation and 'hoped' I would not cause them any problemsUmmm, too late So, if you have the chance to use wemassage.ca to book a massage - don'tMake an appointment with your local massage therapist instead, especially if you are in painThis is a company I would not ever recommend, for any reason

This company should be shut downI purchased their [redacted] for two massages for $for my mother; she tried making an appointment four, yes FOUR seperate times- each time making way in her schedule, and each time it was cancelled last minuteI [redacted] this company and after five minutes of reading I called [redacted] We did not bother to attempt a fifth scehdule- this is obviously some type of *** [redacted] has a policy where if the [redacted] expires (which would be June for us) you still have a store credit with the price you paid but do not get the dealThat means we would have had to use $towards one of their services which would be a rip offIt seems like thats the goal for this companyI have no idea why they would tell us we have an appointment, then cancel last minute, FOUR timesThis smells of pure ***Not only is this inconvenient for the person making way in their schedule, but very unprofessionalI knew I wouldnt get my money back from calling the company from online so I didnt even bother and just contacted [redacted] , luckily after negotiating past a useless " [redacted] credit" and explaining to them this has happened multiple times to othe people, they assured me it has, and refunded me I not only will be filing a further complaint and persuading an investigation on this company and what theyre doing through [redacted] , I will be reaching out to every single person who has had the same experience and informing them they can write a review on them through the better buisness bureau

I'm beyond fed up with their services and I haven't even received a massage yet! Not only have they wasted about a week of my time since I scheduled my appointment, but they canceled on me the night before! And on top of that, they're charging me more and more money for random fees that was not made apparent before I bought the package through [redacted] ! I'll pay more in fees than I did for the deal to begin with! Do not waste your time and money trying to use their services! [redacted] ! And when asked to rate them, giving them a rating of is me being extremely nice!

I had a $69 expired *** coupon (appropriate to be used towards the cost of a massage).

Upon setting a booking, I received a quote that added costs on top of the $69 was
+ $15 Service Fee + $32.75 =$59.86.

TOTAL COST = $128,86 for $100 massage cost.

The only way to communicate is through email which can take weeks and then the responses do not correlate to the original communication.

I have attempted to book several times and the wait times are not functional. On one appointment, I was cancelled at the last minute because the therapist had an "acting appointment." The "other" service fees are not represented in their ads.

Hi Deborah- we appreciate your previous business as well this concern and allow us to clarify both the terms of the deal as well our company costs as there are no other fees payable than what is described on the voucher print including our website terms. You have mistaken how the end cost was tabulated and I would be happy to describe in detail your bill for the latest session booked. Back in 2016 you had purchased a third party voucher for $69 which is the 'Paid' amount (value of services $400), valid for 4-hours of massage, plus the additional due for the travel (if applicable), service fee, RMT upgrade (if applicable) and tax as noted on both the online deal and described on the voucher print. There are no other costs outside of these terms presented on the deal print or our website. On expiration since this is the inquiry, what happens is the vouchers 'Value' is the only thing that expires, so it's no longer worth $400, however your 'Paid' amount of $69 never expires and although its been over two years past expiration this amount can at any time be used towards future services. Because your order was for 4-hours, the voucher 'Paid' portion gets split into the hourly amount so $69/4 equates to a credit of $17.25 per hour. Our retail rate per hour is normally $100, but as a client courtesy we allowed our 2018 deal of 50% off retail, so the hour you booked was $50 (less the hourly credit of $17.25) and this is why on your bill it showed $0 for the massage as you were redeeming a expired voucher, and we had to note in the "Other Costs" which we advised is the cost for the massage session as this is how its accounted, it came to $50 - $17.25 which was shown as $32.75 so you're only paying $32.75 for 1-hour of in-home massage service, plus the $10 travel, plus $15 service fee, plus $2.11 taxes. The total for the hour came to $59.86 I hope this better clarifies. If you were to book now in 2019 without the 50% off or your credit the cost would be over $125 all in depending if you choose the booking form upgrade to RMT with receipt or not. We appreciate your previous business as we have on file that you completed 2-hour of service to date both at a therapists in-spa location and were happy with the terms of payment and are sorry for any confusion presented now that the order has expired. We have already touched base to offer service as well gather some therapist time slots to present you with and have not heard back. As an additional courtesy, this is outside of our standard practice, but if you'd like to apply all your credit on a single hour instead of over 4 we can accommodate this request, but this would be subject to booking at our retail pricing as displayed on our website less your credit, we would be unable to offer the 50% off plus your applied credit as the two discounts can not be combined. It would come to the $100 massage, plus $10 travel, plus $15 service fee, plus taxes, then less your credit of $69. If still interested in proceeding we would be more than happy to fulfil all service as intended and at any time of year. Always more than happy to help and serve you better.

I originally had a one-hour on-site massage appointment for Tuesday, August 16, at 10amThe massage therapist (Sherrice) called at 10:04am on that Tuesday asking to reschedule due to her having "transportation issues." We rescheduled for today, Thursday, August 18, at 10amIt is now 11am and I have neither seen nor heard from SherriceI have called and left a voicemail message but I have not received a reply yetAfter reading the reviews here and elsewhere, (I wish I had done that BEFORE purchasing my *** voucher!)I also called the wemassage.ca number and no one picked up, or has called backI've emailed, as well, but after reading reviews I'll be surprised if I get a responseI doubt that *** will be partnering with this "company" again, but I wouldn't be surprised if WeMassage's intention was to partner just once, simply to get paid by *** at least onceHaving variations between cities is not an excuse for poor therapist availability, or for poor responsibility and communication from therapists - this is something that should be vetted before agreeing to serve particular cities/areasAdditionally, variations between cities does not excuse the lack of customer service on the part of the "company." I really believe that this is not a legitimate company, and that any positive reviews are fake ones

I booked two massages (one for myself and one for my husband) One massage therapist did not show up (a single therapist performed two massages, starting about 1/hour after the appointed start time)
The company did not contact us to let us know about the change (the one therapist that did come had to call and text them several times to find out what was going on)
Later we received a very long winded email from the company - who still wanted (and we're fighting this) to charge us a CAD travel fee and set up fee (which was prepaid) for the therapist that did not show up!

I had purchased a [redacted] package of four 60 minute massages. I booked all 4. 1st appointment Noone shows. I email, call, leave voicemail.....nothing. 3 hours after my appointment time, I send an email demanding a refund do because research of the company was less than desirable (being extremely polite). I received an immediate response to my angry email saying we will reschedule you, give you $50, etc. Then the MIA therapist calls me on my cell the day after to complain I got her in trouble for not showing up. REALLY?!?!?!?!?! I disputed all "additional" charges with my credit card company. I theneed complained to [redacted] who refunded my package price. [redacted]

We Massage doesn't deliver what they advertise. No in spa treatments are available in the Hamilton area and I couldn't even get an in house treatment. They have very poor customer service. This is on line only....no address is given on the site. They don't return phone messages or emails and you can't talk to a live person. If you finally do arrange an appointment they cancel the night before and don't refund prepaid charges when cancelled.
