We Mean to Klean

Lauren is a very fair woman and cleans well. Amazing prices and even better house!

We contracted with We Mean to Klean to clean our home before we moved out. We were very satisfied with the services they provided and could not have asked for better customer service.

Bought home and contracted with this company based on "move-in detail cleaning" promised complete and thorough detailed cleaning of entire house. Walked through house with owner who noted all the things she would be cleaning-I explained to her we were VERY meticulous when cleaning ourselves and expected the same. She noted things as we went, wiping her fingers across door frames and noting light diffusers with dust and dead bugs in them, carpet spots, dust on sills and cobwebs (house had been vacant for at least one month, but was built within last 10 years so was in great condition). House totally empty, so no furniture to move or work around. She said was a "big project" but indicated that her crew would be able to handle it. Upon move-in the day after she finished project, found MANY areas of the house not cleaned at all, and other areas cleaned shoddily as follows are examples of what we found upon our arrival:
-used band aid and trash on floor in garage
-cobwebs with dark dust on them throughout the house, in areas we walked through together on initial contract
-plastic cover on bottom of refrigerator broken off and laying on the floor
-streaks on refrigerator door
-dirt on kitchen floor, laundry floor, back entry floor easily visible and wiped up with paper towel and water by us just to see if it was stains-was just dirty
-food debris in many kitchen drawers and cabinets
-fabric window treatments not "taken down and in a bag for you" as stated
-huge ball of dust wiped up from under dishwasher, stove, and refrigerator
-tops of doorways which she noted on walk-thru not wiped off
-master bath vent fan not "taken down and cleaned" as stated
-master showerheads not cleaned out, still not squirting water from multiple jets
-spilled some cleaner on bath mat (was a white bath mat with green stain not there before)
-walls not wiped in master bath
-streaks on mirror in master bath
-ALL drawer slides not wiped at all-all tops very dusty-easily seen when you open
-residue (cleaner?) left in kitchen sink
-dirty razor blade left on kitchen counter
Overall, I estimate that they "cleaned" less than half of this house, and was very disappointed with their lack of professionalism. I had them come over and went through the above list with them, and got multiple excuses, and admittance that they "missed some things" but got mostly blank stares when I was showing them. My wife was terribly distraught about the whole incident, and I handled the discussion with them (owner brought her husband to my house for this).
They insisted they wanted paid THAT DAY so we agreed on paying them half, which I thought was more than fair. I asked her for a receipt, and she said "oh its all right here on my phone" and I verified email address with them and they left. I did NOT want them back to "clean" the rest of the house, as I was not confident in their ability to produce the results that they PROMOTE AND PROMISE, and my wife just wanted it to be over with. I emailed owner Lauren Williams yesterday-two full days after I paid her-and asked for a receipt by the end of the day. She has yet to send me one.
BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY AND THEIR Revdex.com "RATING" THEY PROMOTE SO WELL-DID A REALLY BAD JOB AND ARE NOT COMPETENT TO DETAIL CLEAN.
