We Move DMV

I contacted this company based on a referral from a friend. Initially, Troy was very communicative. I looked online and read the reviews. Most were very good. However, there was one that was bad. She had explained how he had damaged her belongings and made promises to repair the items and even discount her total balance and he never did.

Troy called to let me know he was on his way to transport my belongings. He arrived early and packed up his truck.

After unloading the truck, I got a text from Troy stating that he did not know how to properly arrange the pillows on my sectional. Once I went to organize the pillows. I noticed damage to my sectional. I contacted him immediately. He said he would contact “his guy” to see if it can be fixed. He texted me later and said “his guy” said it could not be fixed.

I asked him for the options to discount the price I paired for the move as compensation for my damage.

Later that day, I attempted to move my dresser to connected my WiFi. The mirror literally tilted and fell almost hitting me in the head. I was livid. I contacted Troy, again, to let him know what happened. He stated that his worker had the screws to the mirror in his pocket and had no idea what they were for. He actually pushed the mirror and dresser up against the wall without securing them together and didn’t even tell me!

The leg on the mirror is broken and I have no mirror on my dresser. He has contacted to me to pretend to fix the issue and still has not fixed the problem. He even offered to send me a discount, which I still have not received.

He has no conflict resolution skills and has no idea how to rectify situations when things do not go as planned.
