Driveway and parking area
Terrible experience and no satisfaction provided. High pressure sales job with many promises. Then started backing out of them. Crew shoveled blue chip up onto decorative retaining wall and left it there in a mess for starters. Equipment hit the retaining wall in two places and shifted it. Owner aware, and was seen hitting the wall, has ignored it. WORST of all is that because of the way they graded the blacktop into the garage, every tie it rains, the garage floods. Owner offered a solution but never followed up and pretends he doesn't remember. Repeated calls to and promises from the owner have been for nothing. Always an excuse, always out of town, if you are lucky enough to get him on the phone. No follow through despite promises. I have seen other customers of this company provide negative feedback on them too (see Facebook, Charles County Matters).

Thank you WE Paving! You came to pave my neighbor's driveway and wound up using my lawn as your staging area. Neither you nor my neighbor asked permission to use my property and then you left the grass torn up - along the whole length. By the time I got home from work, the damage had been done. And, being a woman of short stature, I did not feel safe asking the workers to move their equipment off of my property. The only thing I'm happy about is that I got to see what your paving work looks like. My neighbor's driveway was poorly done. No address of company on website. No license number. Won't be a customer of yours. Ever. Thanks for trespassing. Thanks for leaving a damaged lawn behind.

Review: We contacted We Pave and received a quote for driveway paving. The work was completed on March 10, 2014. Since that date, we have had three issues with the driveway. In all three cases, we have had to contact the owner multiple times to get them to come out and fix the driveway. The most recent contact took place on June 10. I received a response back 4 days later saying the driveway would be fixed "asap" and that we would come up with a solution so we don't have to continue worrying about when the next issue will crop up. 11 days later and the driveway still hasn't been fixed and we haven't heard anything else from the company letting us know when we can expect it to happen. The contract states that the driveway is guaranteed for one year against cracking, settling, and defective material, but we feel like three problems in three months is indicative of a job that wasn't done correctly.Desired Settlement: At this point we need to figure out a different kind of solution because we are not convinced that the work has been consistent or up to industry standards. It is extremely disappointing that we paid $4500 for such sub-par work. It seems like the best course of action would be a refund or partial refund so we could arrange for someone else to come out and redo/correct the job.

Review: In February We Pave came to my house on their own and wanted to offer asphalt millings for our driveway. My wife spoke to them and a price was agreed upon. They started work later that day. The agreement was 3" compressed millings over entire driveway. The lead guy said if there were any issues to call them and they would come back out. We have several spots were the gravel driveway is showing through and there is a section not covered because it was under snow when the work was done. There were also air bubbles that formed holes later on.

We gave it some time becasue the ground was extremely soft when they did the work. So as things dried we assessed the driveway and there were areas that needed addressed. My wife called a couple times and left messages with no call back . I began emailing them on April 6th requesting contact us for a follow up and to fix a few of the issues we had. I admit, initially I typed contact # in wrong. but it took 3 weekly emails and finally a mention of filing a Revdex.com complaint to even get a response. Once the phone # issue was cleared we received a call on/about 4/30 stating they would be out by the end of that week. No one showed up. So I've emailed again on 5/7, 5/21 and 6/4 with no reply back.

Overall I like the millings they have served our needs better than the gravel that was down did. There are just a few things that need looked at and addressed. I just wish I could have gotten a reply back so we could have resolved the issue.

- not as thick as documented it would be areas where old driveway shows through.

- area not done due to snow covereage.

- air pockets and holes created from them as well as a couple pothole like spots.Desired Settlement: Would someone to come out and look at the driveway and work with us to fix the areas of concern.
