Last July, CBT did mold remediation, removed fiberglass and encapsulated my crawl space, installed closed cell foam and changed out very dusty flex ducts that were original from when the house was built years ago Just today (October 2015), CBT removed the fiberglass in my attic and installed open cell foam insulation The personnel at this company are honest, reliable and very hard-working, and their work is high-quality and immaculate My monthly electricity bill already decreased from $before the crawl space was renovated, to $two months later The air inside my house if finally clean I feel lucky and grateful that I found this company, and I would recommend it to anyone

To the consumers, beware of this company. They do not honor warranties. I have had a bad experience with them. Be careful what you ask for with this guy. He is a scammer when it comes down to being held accountable. I asked for him to recommend what I should do for water that's coming into my crawlspace. Based on his recommendation, he told me that he would give me a 3-for-1 deal. He would dig out a trench all the way around the crawl space and put a flow pipe and gravel for the water to travel to the sump pump. It partially worked pretty good, until some water got on the tarp in different areas of the crawlspace. I only had the system for 3 weeks - it's still under warranty. He would not come to look and see where the water was coming from. I called the county inspector and told him what was going on. I told the inspector that he would not come out to look, he just started speculating what the problem could be - instead of coming out. He said he had "new" customers to attend to. This guy does not live up to his word, his warranty and his guarantee. He does not have a license but he does have an accredited certification - but it is not a license. You should check your contractors before you get a quote. He charged me $13k for the job. He put a radon motor in that you can get from Home Depot for $139 - he charged me $900 for it. He also charge me $900 for the sump pump, which actually cost less than $100. I asked him to come get his motor out because it kept "humming" underneath my bedroom and he got upset. I got a new motor a couple of days later and installed it myself. It's very quiet and not a cheap motor. So beware, he is a good liar. I will be doing a follow up when I come from court. I'm suing him for all of my money back. This is a complete rip off.

In March 2015, Crawl Space & Basement Technologies was chosen to remove mold from the crawl space of my house. All personnel were very friendly and explained in an understandable manner as to how the mold would be removed, and how its return would be prevented. The crawl space was totally encapsulated with the use of sturdy plastic and closed-cell foam. Upon their departure, the crawl space and entrance area thereto, were left extremely clean. Overall, I am very pleased with the mold remediation service rendered, and recommend that business very highly to anyone with a problem similar to the one that I had.
