[redacted] at Weaponworx in Vail Arizona has had my firearm for almost two years. He has given me every excuse under the sun as why the work I paid him to do isn't complete. Now has stopped communicating with me. I just want my gun back. I have filed a complaint with the Pima county sheriff department.

Almost a year and a half ago I contacted Weapon Worx to have work done on my M&P (cerakote the slide, port the slide and barrel, stipple the grip, and install a red dot. Within minutes of submitting my request Kalvin, the owner contacted me personally and gave me an estimate of around $700. It was steep but I was doing some significant work so it didn't surprise me, plus with such a fast reaponse and previous reviews I felt that I would be getting my money's worth.

So I paid him up front on a Thursday and almost immediately started having problems. He was supposed to send me his FFL that night so I could ship the gun to him. I didn't receive it until Monday night after multiple request. Red flag number 1. Then I shipped my gun and red dot to him and it took almost two weeks of emails before he responded that it had been received, not what was advertised on his website.

So his initial quote was that the work would take about four months because he was a little backed up. I didn't worry much as I had other guns and other things going on. Fast forward four and a half months. After multiple emails over about a two week period inquiring to the status of my pistol I get a response saying that they haven't even started yet, but it should be done with in a month. Kalvin apologizes and says he'll add in a free upgrade of my choosing.

Fast forward another two months and almost another month worth of unanswered emails and phone calls still no Pistol. At this point I don't even care about the work I just want my gun back. I finally get a response and it's Kalvin apologizing again saying that he lost his machinest and he's trying to find a new one but he's already started the work on it he just has to finish the slide/barrel and install the red dot. I'm not happy but I figure it's almost done, might as well get something out of this nightmare. I ask for a no bs estimate on completion time. He says max six weeks. Again I don't like it, but I bite the bullet.

Fast forward 7 weeks and another three weeks or so of emails and unanswered phone calls, no response. I finally had to threaten legal action and notification to the ATF to magically get a response. He gives me a sob story about his back surgery and how it has set him back. I say I don't care send my gun back. He keeps trying to negotiate and say that he can get it done etc etc. Again, I tell him I do not care send me my property immediately. He finally does, a good week after he said he would and guess what? Not a single ounce of work done to it, no stippling, no cerakoting, nothing. And, what is not in the package? My red dot. After almost a year of having my pistol, and $700, this hack of a company had done absolutely nothing I paid for, not even the simplest of things that could have been done in less than a day.

Needless to say, I would avoid this company like the plague, and would not send my weapons to them even if they were offering the cheapest prices on the planet. Absolutely worse expierence I've had with any company in any industry ever. I honestly wish the rating for likelihood to recommend this business to a friend went into the negatives.
