Per the final contract, the agreed amount was $11,After you contacted an employee of mine and yelled, screamed, cussed and called him names we decided to complete the free items you demanded so that we could move on to other projectsWe also lowered the contract amount to $11,as a favor for the troubles that you felt you hadI thought lowering the contract amount would satisfy you, since that is the contract total that you acknowledged in your original complaint to the Revdex.comPlease pay the remaining balanceIf your account is not paid in full by October 22nd we will have no choice but to send your account to collectionsJust a few days ago you responded to an employee at CVR via text message that the job was complete and nothing more was saidIf the drywall patch needs more attention, please inform usThat way, we can fix the problem!

I am rejecting this response because: : It's not true.I kept going over the issues with Matt.An example of one issue would be the door, which was not a preexisting issueMatt was at the door when I went to open it for the first time after the siding was installed on that sideAt first I couldn't open it, then had to shove it open with his assistance, to let him in the house. He had the workers try to fix it, and he came back to try, more than once, according to what he told meIt did close better in the winter, but this is a south facing door, and when the sun heats it up, it doesn't close without force. The previous owners, the realtor, the home inspector, and everyone who has ever come to my house can attest to the fact that this was not a preexisting conditionI find this accusation highly offensive, as I have been completely honest through this whole ordeal.I've had to mention or "complain" several times for the same issues because they are not getting fixed.I've attached a picture of the door that no longer easily closes, as well as the caulk at the base of this door, which is not up to the quality I was lead to believe would be provided by Weathersafe, which is "above industry standards".Unfortunately, the attached image of the screen that doesn't fit is a new issueMatt replaced the screen that came with a hole, with a screen that doesn't fit.I have many photos, but I think this gets the point across. From the Weathersafe documentation I was given:"If you are ever dissatisfied with any aspect of our merchandise, service, or the way we do business, please let us knowWe are pledged to resolve any misunderstanding or complaintA satisfied customer is our most important asset."

Yes, you did hire us in
an emergency situationI thank you for your business and am glad we were able
to take care of all your restorative home repair needsWe went out of our way
to help you in areas we typically wouldn't venture intoI would like to take
this opportunity to explain exactly
what we doWe are a restoration general
contracting companyHowever, just because we have restoration in our name does
not mean we restore "all" thingsThat would be like saying a
construction company that does remodeling should also construct highways,
bridges and skyscrapersbecause they are a construction companyIt is wiser
to limit what we offer as a company so that we may become experts in those
areasWe specialize in certain types of restoration which are as follows:
Roofing, Siding, Windows, Gutters, Water Mitigation, and Restorative DryingWe
have decades of experience in these tradesWe do not specialize in drywall
repair or many other things for that matterAll of this is clearly stated
within our website and marketing brochureThere must've been a
misunderstanding between you and our *** DerekI apologize for that
In a situation such as yours it is not uncommon for a homeowner to have to call
2, or even different contractors to repair their home to pre-loss
conditionRegardless of this misunderstanding we have already performed
further training to all of our salespeople.Derek
did provide you with an estimate to re-roof your entire home, you chose to have
us do just thatTo say we scammed you is in my opinion, very defamatoryMy
Company has an excellent track record and we simply have never
"scammed" a personIn response to your phone calls and text messages
we decided to complete the drywall repair at no additional cost to youWe also
repaired a gutter and remounted an outside light sconce, at no additional cost
to youFor your troubles we have also deducted $from the total invoice,
bringing the invoice total to the requested $,

she writes emails complaining why things aren't getting done... We're at a loss because everything is completed above industry standards! The vapor barrier was not needed because we installed a better component which helps insulate her home. Upon realizing we charged for both, the Sales Manager quickly removed the vapor barrier charge from the invoice. It was a simple mistake. There was a couple things that were damaged during construction. Unfortunately this happens from time to time. Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]The only thing I agreed to was to have my home restored to its original state, that is the only concern I had when hiring Chippewa Valley Restoration. I have experience and understanding of how contracting works. I could have hired a roofing contractor and a drywall contracter myself and left CVR out of the deal. Then no problem would have occurred and then wouldn't get a royalty.  Regarding the gutter repair, the roofers bent the gutter back into place and tightened a screw on the garage light, not real extensive work.  That was to save me money on my original estimate, which was to save me money, so I could get an entire roof aka spend more money in return. Yes CVR did have drywall contractors come and repaired the hole in my garage ceiling but however in was less then quality work. Unfortunately, painting over wet mud will leave evidence of poor workmanship. Also, I did NOT agree upon any dollar amount as stated in the response letter from CVR. I will send a check for $2,000 and this job is done.
Regards,
Theresa [redacted]

Per the final contract, the agreed amount was $11,579.08. After you contacted an employee of mine and yelled, screamed, cussed and called him names we decided to complete the free items you demanded so that we could move on to other projects. We also lowered the contract amount to $11,000 as a favor for the troubles that you felt you had. I thought lowering the contract amount would satisfy you, since that is the contract total that you acknowledged in your original complaint to the Revdex.com. Please pay the remaining balance. If your account is not paid in full by October 22nd we will have no choice but to send your account to collections. Just a few days ago you responded to an employee at CVR via text message that the job was complete and nothing more was said. If the drywall patch needs more attention, please inform us.
