If you're looking for a professional and positive experience, Weathersby Windows & Doors is NOT the place to goI'll start by saying that communication between their staff and customers is extremely poorAs a consumer, we visually and verbally communicated what we would like to have done with our doorsWe trusted that staff would properly write down our wishesThe contract consists of numbers and letters which are unfamiliar to the consumer but our wishes were reverberated back to usWhen the doors arrived, it was not what we had discussed, but because the special numbers and letters weren't on the contract (we took for granted the staff wrote down what we wanted), they didn't try and make it right
I'll walk you through our unpleasant experience with this companyFirst, one staff member started the contract with us and then the owner Darrin took over, having no communications with his staff member as to what was going onThroughout the process of waiting for the doors, we were told we could have our locks keyed the same to all doors and to bring in the door hardware to the store to have locks keyedWhen we arrived to the store to drop off our door hardware, the owners father was there and said he would leave a message for the staffWe never received a call backFurthermore, we sent multiple emails asking what our door hardware would look like, we never got response other than "bronze"When asking specifics about the door handle, there was no responseThis is what I mean about communication, no one in that office delivers messages or communicates, therefore the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing
The day prior to our scheduled appointment, no one from the business called us to confirm our appointmentAt 2pm, I began to worry because of the previous experience we had with their communication, so I called their office and they said, yes we will be there tomorrow at 7:30amIt was 8:30am on installation day and no one had showed up so we call the office and they said "oh they should be there, they just left the office"It wasn't until 9:that the workers showed upAs we confronted them about the time, the workers stated they didn't have all their materials to do the job and they had to stop at Home DepotNot once did we receive a courtesy call stating they would be late, which would have satisfied any customerThe workers were scheduled for one day of work to install doorsThe workers showed up with two doors and partially installed those two doorsScrews were missing from the hinges and we had to keep telling them to insert the missing screwsThe missing screws didn't match the color of all the other screwsThe hinges to our 10ft door did not match the hardware to the "bronze" door hardware that we kept trying to get information onThey didn't have the sweep or the weather striping to one of our doorsAs the workers "completed" the two doors, they told us they would be back tomorrow to install the third doorWe were scheduled for only one day of workNo one communicated to us that this would take multiple days for installation until they were here, making it inconvenient for usThe owner's reasoning for not having the third door was because the third door wasn't finished...did we receive a courtesy call from the business stating the door wasn't done? You guessed it, no we didn'tOn the second day of installation, the owner showed up to stain our third doorWe wanted to address several things with himWe asked him to activate the self closing hinges on our fire proof door yet he was unfamiliar with the process as he had to YouTube how to do soThe door knob was loose on one of our doors and when we asked the owner about it, he stated, that is maybe how it might have to be, but I can take a look at itWe also asked if we could change our door hardware since we didn't have the opportunity to pick it, yet we asked about it before installation and did not receive any feedbackThe owner was reluctant to help exchange the door knob and was more interested in receiving a full payment to fulfill a "completed contract"We also asked the owner about being able to get the hinges to our 10ftdoor to match the door knobHe said sureTwo weeks later, workers show up with the wrong color hingesWe waited another three days to finally receive the right color hinges
Overall, this was an extremely painful and unpleasant experience and I absolutely felt like I settledDealing with poor employees can be expected and it is not unreasonable to speak with the owner or manager, however with this company, the worst part is the owner, DarrinThe installers did their best with what they had, they were friendly and hard working but because of poor communication and direction from the owner, this is the type of experience you can expect

My experience with Weathersby Windows and Doors was wonderful from beginning to endThe owners, *** and *** were especially attentive, professional and communicative from the first phone call down to the installationThe products, presentation and price are unbeatable compared to the several other estimates I receivedThe installers were also very kind, professional and hardworkingGREAT experience overallI will most definitely recommend Weathersby Windows to anybody in the market for windows and/or doors

The staff at Weathersby Windows and Doors are exceptionalTheir product and installation is impeccableFrom start to finish, the crew did an excellent job taking care of my needs and treated my home as if was their ownI highly recommend them

My entire experience with everyone I dealt with was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and easy to work with All of them were professional and took the time to explain from the selling to installation The guys who installed the windows were clean, nice and professional The windows look great and I noticed the reduction of noise level reduced significantly and the windows were still not all installedOnce installed I couldn't hear the loud noise from the roofers (replacing roof during the same time) Thank you Weathersby for all your hard work!!

It has been a few weeks since we had our last visit from Weathersby Windows and Doors It has taken awhile for this unpleasant and unprofessional experience to settle with me We signed a contract on June 21, and just closed the contract on December 12, We ordered three doors We had no issues with one door This job was to be done in one to two days First, the wrong size door was ordered for one of the doors We had to wait another 6-or so for the correct size door to arrive and schedule another installation day The Swing French door glass arrived with scratches and later we discovered an area on the frame that the finish had been brushed off It was explained to us by the installers that the company does not pre-check products for flaws or damage So the flawed door was installedAt first we were told to contact Milgard who would replace the scratched glass Our question to Weathersby is why does this become our problem? We expected our new door to be free from flaws and scratched glass upon delivery Weathersby did contact Milgard and ordered new glass and would install the glass Also, Milgard told Weathersby to try to fix the finish on the door before they would replace it In their defense, they did bring back the sheen but I can see a slight difference We accepted this flaw We wait again for several weeks for the new glass to arrive causing another day for installation In the meantime, the the wrong size door (size corrected) arrives and another day for install This door arrives with flaws and damageThe installers continued to install the door seeing that a door hinge placement was originally done wrong It was redone and the previous placement filled in with putty It looked awfulWe found the door to be unacceptable The flawed/damaged door is installed while a new one is ordered taking another 6-weeksFinally the door arrives and installation is scheduled This door has paint flaws and we are handed a marker pen to fix the paint flaws When I pay hundreds of dollars for a product I expect that product to not have flaws or be damaged The communication regarding the flaws and damage on the doors between all parties was not pleasant The installers tell us one thing, the company staff tell us something else Weathersby Windows and Door is not a company I would recommend for quality of products or professionalism

I chose Weathersby Windows & Doors after getting estimates from other window companies in Tucson I really liked the presentation of the product and options and appreciated the time the representative, ***, spent answering my questions The lifetime warranty on the windows along with the great price sealed the deal I was kept in the loop throughout the process as the windows were ordered and we chose a date to put them in My schedule is hectic and they were able to schedule around it I have to say that my favorite part was the installation The installers were a great bunch of guys who worked so hard to complete the job in one day so I wouldn't have to take another day off work They were pros for sure and did such a great job cleaning up I will and have highly recommended Weathersby Windows & Doors
