Initial Business Response / [redacted] (4000, 11, 2015/11/24) */ The original contract was not for removal and replacement with a new deck materialsIt was a re-surfacing od the deckThe materials used did not meet expectationsIt's not the consumers fault so we are choosing to refund their money Final Consumer Response / [redacted] (4200, 9, 2015/11/23) */ The owner of Weathertight roofing made an appointment to come see the deck on Nov 20, He examined the deck and areas that were leaking and asked to see my copy of the contractI provided him my copy of the contract and copy of my receiptHe said he would like to talk to his Manager in charge of the job and would like an opportunity to repair the deckI agreed to have the repair done if it would stop the leakingI mentioned that I had called the company at least two times regarding the leaking and an employee came out at least two times to add more waterproof sealant but the leaking did not stopHe said he would contact me 11/23/15- I received a voicemail from the owner of Weathertight Roofing, [redacted] stating that they will refund the amount originally paid for the repair
