Response:

To whom it may concern,

I'm responding to a complaint that was submitted on 1/1/2014 12:00:00 AM and given an ID # of [redacted]. I spoke with the customer in regards to this complaint on January 4th. I shared with the customer my concern as to sharing this complaint with another individual and/or organization without giving me any notification and/or opportunity to correct and/or explain what took place in regards to her vehicle. I was unaware of any miscommunication and/or any dissatisfaction on the part of our customer. I spoke to the customer and explained to the best of my ability what has taken place in regards to the tire pressure sensor in question on her vehicle. I advised customer that each tire pressure sensor has an internal battery that can at any time go dead without any physical damage being done to the sensor itself. I also explained to the customer that in order to reset tire pressure indicator light on instrument panel the vehicle needs to be driven several miles. Customer seemed to fully understand what I was explaining in this regards. However, customer did return to our facility and we removed tire pressure sensor and inspected the sensor for physical damage and found the sensor to be in good condition apart from the battery seeming to be completely dead. Customer stated that if sensor sustained no physical damage that she would pay for a new sensor. However we at Weaver Tire have decided to replace sensor at no charge to customer. Here at Weaver Tire we have always taken care of our customer's concerns with little reservation. In regards to the brake issue spoken about in this complaint filing. This vehicle is a mail delivery vehicle and performs many, many stops on a regular basis, When replacing a brake caliper on the rear of this vehicle we recommended replacing both sides in order to eliminate any potential concerns with the operation of the rear brakes. Customer was advised and was given an option to replace just one side and/or both sides. Customer requested we install both rear brake calipers. Work was performed and completed in regards to the customer's wishes. The total for the brake job was $419.76 which included the following repairs with labor: Front brake pads, rear brake calipers, rear brake pads,Labor & PA Tax.

I spoke with the customer in regard to the issues at hand and recommended that any future issues that may arise that she contact Weaver Tire first before making any other contacts in regard to any concern that may arise in the future as we continue our relationship together. I believe that I and the customer have put this issue behind us and are in good standing with each other going forward.

Sincerely,

P.5. Please contact me @ Weaver Tire within 10 days of receiving this letter.
