Customer Service is very important at *** Optical, and as such we do not take these allegations lightly
*** Optical is sympathetic to the patient's situation, but at no time was he taken advantage of

Dear Folks,
I received your answer to my complaint against ***'s Optical yesterday 3-9-
If necessary I can get copies of the checks for the eye exam ($in July of 2013) and the check for amount of the complete pair of progressive no - lone Bi - Fo0cals (purchased in July of - Not Septof 2012!)
Notice also that they did not mention the price paid for the complete pair purchased in X-XXXX, nor the price I paid for just the lense replacement in November of Complete pair cast me $plus changeThe lense replacement cost me $quite a difference just for lense to be replaced in my frames, originally bought from them (***'s)
If they were being honest, why would they not mention either cost as well as denying the exam, its cost and dateAs I mentioned above, the purchase was not September of 2012, it way July of
So my wish is to continue with this complaint and have ***'s Optical explain why the cost was misaligned, as well as why their records do no indicate the exam I had and why their dates are conflicted

From that time until 11/25/2015, no correspondence was received from patient
On 11/25/a prescription from DrEd Lauer at the Jefferson City Correctional Center was received by *** Optical and new lenses were ordered for the patients frameOnce the eyeglasses were completed the eyeglasses were shipped by UPS to the address given to us by the patientThe lenses were billed at $with $for shipping and $ sales tax for a total invoice of $
The difference of price between and can be attributed to a higher cost of doing business and has nothing todo with the patients status of incarceration

Regarding ***'s Optical's LAST RESPONSE
They STILL ARE CLAIMING that I SAW them and purchased a pair of glasses from them on 9/12/This is not correct at allThe only time I was ever in their business was Late June or early July of I was escorted by an officer of the Greene County jail to ***'s Optical for the purpose of an eye exam costing $prepaid, which they previously denied, Then I picked out two sets of glasses with the progressive no line lenses-was fitted for them and was then escorted back to Greene County Jail
My son came into ***'s Optical and paid for the glasses with my Commerce Bank Visa cardA few days later an officer from the jail picked my glasses up at ***'s and brought them to me at the jailI'm thinking my son told me they cost $169-and change but they may have been $and changeRegardless-the cost of the lenses only being replaced in my frames at the price of $is complelely unwarrented
Many optical dealers are selling a complete pair of glasses around $and some at two(2) pair for less than a $with a free eye exam
Thusly I wish to continue my complaint against ***'s Optical and expect you at the B.B.Bto put this complaint to their fileI am in the process of trying to get copies of this transaction from my bank (Commerce) on Kansas Expy and will forward copies of these invoices to you upon recieving them from CommerceI still maintain ***'s Optical has overcharged me for These lenses and think they should honestly admit that and remit a substancial refundFrom July of until November of 2015, doing business has NOT increased that much to support an increase of fees at such a rateThey haven't moved and I doubt seriously that lab fees have not increased that much either

Ms*** purchased a pair of progressive sunsenser lenses on 07/25/Sunsenser lenses are differnet than transition lenses in the fact that the photosensitive material is embedded throughout the lensIn contrast, transition lenses are a coating on the front surface of the lensesSunsenser
lenses do not have this coating
On 01/08/2016, the progressive sunsenser lenses were replaced at no charge, Under the month warranty for her lenses
On 07/15/2017, months later, Lenses were presented for replacement, and at that time was told she would be charged half of the replacement cost for the lenses, that with the time that had passed since their purchase, the lenses could not be replaced at no chargeWith the original purchase date of 07/25/and replacement of lenses months ago, on 01/08/2016, we were trying to be reasonable and only charge her 50% of replacement costThe lenses provided in both cases were progressive sunsenser lenses that do not have a coating on them, like the transition lenses doThis was unsatisfactory and she left
