Where to start...SOFTCOM has terrible customer service and terrible internet serviceThey charge an outrageous amount of money for service that is below sub parI cannot they are still in businessRefused to give refund for service after being told I would receive oneBEWARE of this company as they are sneaky with fees and will not give you the customer service a paying customer should receiveAlso, they threatened me with small claims...who does that? This terrible company

I would rather spend hours on the phone talking on the phone with the cable company than ever deal with the customer service support for Myhosting.com againAnd that really says something! Because my cable company is infamous for its wretched serviceI've been a classic customer of Softcom's Myhosting.com since 2002, and part of the reason I waited so long to move to GoDaddy is that I just knew it my bones that it would be a stressful hassleWell let me tell you that transferring the site completely exceeded my worst case scenarioI have BEGGED the support team on the phone and e-mail to CANCEL my ENTIRE account since the end of May This would seem to be an easy process, but everything at Myhosting "gets escalated" for up to hoursOr longer! And unless you're really ready to "escalate" the intensity of your communication, not much happensOr they get it only partially rightOr just plain wrongSo I got a followup e-mail the day I called to cancel my account that made no mention of the cancellation and just talked about the domainSo I called back the next day and it was like I was making the request for the first time (#groundhogday)Despite my cancellation request, Softcom's MyHosting billed my card another month on June I am under no contractThey keep saying that their CRM department will contact me with cancellation instructions but they never doI have spent several hours on the phone through a dozen-plus calls as well as multiple e-mails trying to end my serviceI have escalated this to a supervisor at their Call Center in India (and he insisted it would be resolved) but currently to no availIt is now June 15, (more than weeks after my initial request, and they still won't fulfill their obligationI fully expect to be billed again on July I'm not sure if my problems with the company stem from corruption or ineptitude or some combination of the twoBut company's customer-service problems absolutely apply to technical issues as wellYou might get them to help "fix" something, but they inevitably break something else in the processPlease save your sanity and avoid doing business with this companyThey will hold you hostage and bill you illegallyAfter all of my hair-pulling experiences, it's hard for me to believe Softcom's Myhosting is even still in business

Softcom service declined to something that can no longer be called serviceI have tried to resolve the problem with them with no successThey are unwilling to make any effort to helpThey say it will not get any betterI virtually have no serviceI informed them that I had to get internet service from a more dependable company and I would be ending their authorization to charge my visa account

I've been dealing with sub par service for yearsPaying $70/ month just to have poor internet serviceSoftcom could care less as long as they're got they're monthly subscription fee!
