Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
The merchant mistated my complaintI never communicated to them that the rubber came off too easily, I said only half the rubber was glued, the other half flapping without any evidence of glue The racket has never been hit hard, that's just made up stuffThe side tape was lifted so I could take a picture for the merchant of the poor job they did.The merchant is correct that the rubbers can be re-gluedHowever the sale was not for a re-glued rubberIt's like charging for a new car and shipping a used one instead
Regards,

[redacted]   This shows CAD$ so it is Canadian dollars.  We show $, which is why the customer was charged in USD and not CAD.   Regards,   [redacted]

- The customer complained that the rubber sheet of the ping pong paddle is coming off the wood.  This paddle was assembled for the customer by ourselves - this is a free service which we offer to customers (he purchased wood and rubber sheets separately and we assembled it).  Table tennis...

glue is designed so that rubber sheets can easily be removed from the wood and replaced or reglued.- The customer sent us the image telling us that the rubber sheet came off too easily.  - The image shows signs of use on the side tape of the paddle.  It is clear that the paddle hit a hard surface during play, and this possibly caused the rubber sheet to come off the wood.- We sent the customer a return label so we re-assemble the rubber sheet to the blade at our cost.  We are also paying for shipping both way.- The customer is requesting that we send him new rubber sheets.  This is not necessary to fix the issue.- We are waiting for the customer to return the paddle using the shipping label we sent him.  We also offered to send him free glue and side tape because he said he is capable of gluing the rubber sheet himself.- We are still waiting for a response from the customer.

The customer had emailed us telling us that he resolved the issue:" I found a bottle of butterfly glue and re-glued it myself, which reminded me how much I hated re-gluing back in russia, trying to get rid of all the little clumbs of glue etc.. "We had offered to do this work ourselves.  The comparison to a used-car is not valid.  Table tennis rubber performance and quality is not affected by re-gluing.  The rubber sold to the customer was cut and glued.  We just offered to repeat the process again for him and offer compensation credit for the inconvenience.  The value of the rubber is the same if we redo the gluing job.The white marks on the edge tape shown are indicative of the racket being used.  These are not marks of the edge tape being removed, as staged by the customer.  We gave the customer the benefit of the doubt on this.We do not know what the customer wants as compensation.  We also offered $15 credit but we have not received a reply.  We can offer free glue if he prefers that.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. Please see as attached, Amazon clearly mentions the billed currency. If I go to amazon.ca, it says CDN. If I go to amazon.com, it does mention USD in the checkout process or at my invoice. It also clearly asks we Canadians to shop from amazon.ca if we are shopping from Canada (do see the attached). I do not accept webgenix $15 credit for my next purchase as I am never coming to their site again. I don't care if webgenix fix this for any other country. So either they fix their process for we Canadians, or give me my complete money back. Regards,

The customer made a purchase of $100.50. We show all our prices with a dollar symbol, just like Amazon shows its prices in the US. The customer expected to be charged 100.50 Canadian dollars. Nowhere on our website do we show any connection with Canada or that we charge in any kind dollar besides...

USD. We do not show any Canada presence. All information on our policy pages shows US locations/US address. Ref: https://www.megaspin.net/aboutus.asp https://www.megaspin.net/store/support.asp The customer asked for a $30 refund. We had already offered the customer $15 credit as a gesture of goodwill on the next order and we have not received a reply to our offer. Please let us know if you think the customer's claim is valid.
