My loan paperwork when paid off was mailed to an unknown law firm. Made numerous calls to ** and [redacted]'s office for explanation since 10/9.On 10/8/13 I received a package from a [redacted] law firm with my original home equity paperwork enclosed and a note saying it mailed to them in error. Called WFCU and left a message with [redacted] for an explanation. Got return call saying he would look into it and would cb the next day(still no call as of 11/15/13). Called [redacted]'s office on 10/24/13 and asked for a callback on a personal matter. I left the message with [redacted]. Later that day she called back rudely questioning why I was calling about a human error?!? I explained she has no idea why I was calling [redacted] and to please forward my message. She told me I was a hard person to deal with and what do you want me to do !?! Again I said I would like you to pass along my message as I have asked. No return call, so I called again on 11/8/13 asking for [redacted] and was instead sent to [redacted]'s voicemail. I left another message stating that I wasn't sure if she gave him my message but again please have him call me. I said if I do not get a return call within 48 hrs I would be closing my accounts and asking for the bulk of my 45K in deposits in cash when I close my accounts. As of this day, nobody from Webster First Credit Union has returned my calls. I have had this account since 1980 but I have now opened an account at another bank and will be closing my accounts as soon as my direct deposits are changed over.Desired SettlementFirst off, the common courtesy of a call back. Secondly to be made whole.Business Response For informational purposes, this certain customer has made numerous repetitive phone calls to the operations center including the [redacted] in an attempt to continually harass and repeat the same dialogue about a situation that has been already addressed. She has attempted to contact many staff members including the [redacted] to again repeat the same situation that he has already heard, handled, and addressed with the staff. The member has also discussed this with internal staff including the Senior Vice [redacted] who has addressed each of her issues in a satisfactory business like manner.When the customer contacted the [redacted]s office, she was told by the Executive Administrative Assistant that the [redacted] was out of the office for a few weeks vacation and the [redacted] was made aware of the situation numerous time by the Vice [redacted] of the related Dept as well as by internal legal counsel. The customer was asked WHAT could be done at this point to further satisfy her constant complaining, and she said "NOTHING, I just want to make sure the president knows about the situation". The executive secretary spent much time on the phone with Mrs. Munroe confirming to her that the [redacted] of this company had heard about the issue and was well aware of it. If she needed to make sure he heard it again, she was more than welcome to submit something in writing and sent it to his attention. She then continued to request that he call her instead so that she could make sure he heard it from her. Legal counsel has reviewed the situation and it was suggested that we wait for any written comments requested from the member. Therefore, it was felt unnecessary to have to return yet another call regarding a situation that has already been handled, discussed and cured by other staff members. The customer will not be obtaining a call from the [redacted]s office at this time. If she submits a letter in writing to his attention, it will be addressed accordingly.Final Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)The response they sent is completely false. I made a total of three calls, one to the [redacted] and two messages to the [redacted]'s office. The [redacted] told me he would call back the following day and to this day has never called. The [redacted]'s [redacted] told me that the [redacted] was out of the office THAT DAY and that she would give him the message to return my call. Two weeks later I left another message (for a total of three calls) asking again for a call back. I spent a total of five minutes on the phone with the [redacted]'s [redacted] trying to explain why I was requesting a call from him. The statement stating she spent much time on the phone assuring me he was aware is laughable since our ONLY conversation was when I left the message asking for a call back. As they now suggest, I will be putting my issues in writing explain to the [redacted] why I have closed my accounts and withdrew close to $40,000 after thirty three years.
