Review: My husband & I went to Webster Hall for New Years and we were so excited about spending New Years at Webster Hall. It quickly turned into an absolute disaster. They had absolutely no security that was able to control the crowd. The way things were not being controlled it was a terrible fire hazard. I missed seeing the ball drop because I was being pushed by the crowd. People were pushing to get in & others trying to get out. My husband had to help a few women because they were being trampled by the crowd. Between the many fire hazards & the trampling my husband & I were terrified & had a terrible time.Desired Settlement: We would like a full refund.

Review: I won a contest on the day and the venue manager screamed at me to go outside when I was just asking a question. Also I told them RCA records was the contest people they were giving out tickets and this lady working there screamed at me again saying this are not yours when I got a call to check at will call and she didn't even check the RCA records envelopes. Also the agent of the artist told me I could use another ticket because I was definitely on the list but they told me I have to get in contact with this woman when it was just a contest winner with a unclaimed ticket. So I didn't get to attend the show because they couldn't help me out.Desired Settlement: Give me a credit to another show or reimburse me

Response:

[redacted] was a fan that had met Tinashe earlier in the day at a meet and greet at a clothing store and was told by her that he would be on her guest list. Throughout the day [redacted] kept coming into our reception area and asking for the tour manager claiming he was on the guest list. We alerted [redacted] that the guest list would not be available until the public doors opened. He was very persistent. I explained the situation to Marlon the Tour Manager, I then took Marlon outside of the venue to see him right before the public doors were opened and he said [redacted] couldn't come into the show. An hour later I saw [redacted] entering near the box office area and I asked him to leave. The Tour Manager perhaps didn't realize he was one of the people Tinashe promised to be on the guest list for the show, but in any event this is not a decision over which we as the venue had control. The artist controls the guest list. Best Regards,[redacted]Promoter Rep

Review: Webster Hall failed to protect it's patrons in a very big way. They far exceeded their capacity limits and it created a VERY dangerous situation where me and my friends and everyone in the big hall on the 2nd floor got trampled, crushed and screaming for our lives....people were falling and crying and being stepped on....my foot was crushed and we all have scratches and bruises. It also caused loss of property (cell phone costing $600). My friend fell and several people had to use all our strength to lift her back up from the crushing crowds. When we finally made it down the stairs I asked the ushers why they allowed so many people upstairs and they said they didn't realize how many people were up there and that they had no way of counting the capacity. The capacity maximum for this floor is 390 people. I would venture to say there was close to 1,000 people up there. I'm sure we can make a good guess by photographs of that night. I demand Webster Hall show all of their tickets sold and make restitution to those hurt by their greedy and irresponsible lack of control of their space. We paid $150 each (3 of us) for this horrific evening....we didn't get to enjoy the midnight countdown or any of the joy this night was supposed to be....at midnight is when this occurred. We have budgeted for this night all year and trust me this was a very costly event for us and having a venue more than happy to take your money and promise this great night and then not safeguard our safety. When I called 911 they said to file a repot with Revdex.com. When we were all being rushed down the stairs people were falling all over each other...it was truly chaos and they are lucky no one was killed. The fire dept finally came but not until most had filtered out....I'd like to know how many times they or the police have been called to this venue.Desired Settlement: I want a public record to be known about how many tickets were sold for the Webster Hall New Years 2014 event, what the capacity was that night, a total refund for our 3 tickets (purchased by Orly Reitkop) and compensation for the phone that was jolted out of my hand as we were getting crushed and never was found. I did record the loss at the lost and found but they said it did not turn up. I also want proof of how they train their staff about maintaining room capacity levels as this is a major health hazard.....on their facebook page you can actually see several complaints about this exact same issue on other nights. The fire dept finally came but not until most had filtered out....I'd like to know how many times they or the police have been called to this venue. Thank you.

Review: The business stated that it will provide 2015 membership cards for consumers that purchased tickets to the 2015 All -Inclusive New Years Eve Ball. They informed that the membership cards will be mailed within 10 days of the New Years Eve Ball.

It has now been a month and I still have not received my membership cards. I contacted the institution three times. I received a response by email from one of the workers after my first correspondence to them, who directed me to a link where I filled out the form, including the order number. I filled out the form and still have not received my cards. I contacted the institution two times after that and didn't receive any response.Desired Settlement: I would like to have the two 2015 membership cards mailed to my house, as originally stated by the institution.
