Dear Sir or Madam;
In reviewing this complaint we note what appears to be several factual errors in the complaint
These include:
"That same week I received a contract from Webster outlining payment arrangement and on the last page it stated "that in order to be allowed payment arrangement I must keep my mouth shut about what they did to me, and that I was not even allowed to speak with even a lawyer about it or the school could pursue it in legal court" While the use of a single quotation remark suggests there is a direct quote, I have reviewed our standard payment arraignment terms and at no point do they say one must keep their mouth shut
"...this from a supposed non-profit organization at that." Webster University is a registered non-profit organization, it is a legal vssupposed status
" I spoke with the University's collections department as I was not making payments while disputing the amount charged for one class (almost 2,000.00)." Ms*** is not disputing the amount charged as she agreed, at the time of enrollment, to our tuition rate, even if at this point that appears to be her argument for not paying
There are several statement Ms*** makes we do not dispute:
She pursued and internal review of her concerns, and that the University rejected those concernsI would request she amend this complaint to include copies of the concerns she filed, as well as the written responses she receivedThis will provide an additional amount of detail to assist both myself and the Revdex.com understanding the full nature of this complaint
No University in the region offers advance French education in the eveningThis reflects a standard practice and not a unique stance by Webster UniversityIf her concern is that a single class not being offered is at issue at the time she wishes to take it she should recognize the vast majority of students take classes when offered, that is the nature of higher education
On the basis of the limited information provided in this Revdex.com complaint, noting the factual errors, it is difficult to understand the basis for the request to write off an outstanding balance for services rendered in a quality mannerUpon receipt of additional information I am confident we can assist Mr*** in understanding our position in this matter

Mr. [redacted] has, it appears, two complaints.
First, he does not appreciate how his fees were handled. What is worth noting is that if his fees were included in his financial aid award then he received the funds directly. This is not a...

case the funds were taken and Mr. [redacted] was double billed. It appears Mr. [redacted] believes Webster University must provide emergency hardship relief because he makes a request. While Webster University does make a limited number of these awards, and Mr. [redacted] indicates he received such an award in the past, the very system is intended for one-time emergencies, not to offset all future funds owed by a student for their educational experience.
Second, Mr. [redacted] objects to the financial hold on his account. University policy, presented in the student handbook to all students, indicates this is our policy. This policy is customary in Higher Education as the retention of the transcript is our only way to see students pay their outstanding balances.
Based on the date of withdraw a student receives a portion of their tuition back, it does not appear Mr. [redacted] is suggesting that did not occur.
At this point I regret to inform Mr. [redacted] the position he is presenting does not justify additional action by Webster University and he will be expected to pay his outstanding balance.

Hello Mr. [redacted]. As stated to you numerous times on the phone and via e-mail, and as explained when you first entered the program, we needed to see your previous transcripts to determine if credits would be transferred, a transcript that you did not submit until two terms later. We understand...

your frustration in believing your certificate should automatically translate into credits, but we must abide by our agreement with DAU and also uphold the high academic standards needed to retain our accreditation. We are still willing to work with you to help you earn the final credits needed to complete your master’s degree.
