My motorcycle has been with the shop for about months (all summer)Yesterday I called at PM and was told that the master technician, *** ***, was going to take it out for a test rideI was told the part they were waiting on from the manufacturer was not going to come in for a while so they were instructed to take the part out of another motorcycle on-site and use that in the meantimeI thought this was good news, and I suggested that if he returned with it being in good condition that I could pick it up before they close at PMThe person I spoke to, *** ***, is a writer for services and he explained that they may need the bike longer and that if I didn't hear from them before they close than it is because they need to look at it further
Then, at 8:PM I receive a text message from a riding friend that asked if my bike was at an eventThis event was taking place at ** *** **, Chelsea MA - a bar called **I was not there, I was in Boston meeting a friend

I normally would not take the time to review a business where I did not end up making a purchase, but in this case I think it should be notedMy year old daughter stopped by GBM to look for her first motorcycleThe sales person showed her a few bikes in her price range, but there was another bike at an associated dealership that was a better fit and he told her he could have it shipped from the *** ** dealer to GBM for her to look atShe called him on Tuesday to ask to have the bike shipped for her to look at, and he agreed and told her it would be there in a day or twoWe waited until Friday with no contact from GBM so I called on my daughters behalfThe sales person told us the bike was not shipped because there had been a deposit on the bike at the other dealer, but it had been returned and that he would have the bike there for us the next day, (Saturday), or Monday at the latestIn retrospect I now do not believe the deposit excuse, and this was probably the 1st misinformation given to us to us by GBM, but at the time I had no reason to doubt it and I did not confirm with the shipping dealershipWhen we did not hear anything Saturday, I called GBM on Monday for an update. The sales person then told me that the bike was not there because it needed "a lot of work" and they did not want to sell it in the condition it was inHe then tried to sell us a more expensive bike that they had on the lotAfter we hung up I called the *** ** dealership and was told the bike WAS in fact shipped last week and should have been there by todayWhen I called the sales person back and informed him what I was told, he said he it could not have been shipped last week as they only requested it on Saturday, (so apparently everything he told my daughter and myself the previous week about getting the bike there was untrue), but he would, "check into it", and call me backAbout an hour later I got a call saying that the bike was "just coming off the truck" and that it in fact did NOT need any work and was in perfect condition for us to come look at(This contradicts his previous story that the bike needed too much work to sell)He also said he would give is a "deal" off the $asking priceThe bike in question is a 3rd owner, year old bike with 6000+ miles on itThe *** average retail for this bike is approx $When we went to look at the bike and discuss a purchase, the "deal" offered to us was $off the asking price which was still $OVER the *** retail for this bikeSo the DEAL we were offered was basically to take a $loss as soon as we walked off the lot! The big selling point GBM used is they will give 90% trade in value on any purchase within monthsHowever in New England for a bike like this, a rider will get approx months where the weather is good enough to ride, so you do not really get months to make a decision if you may want a different bike, and also the 90% is not a buy back, its only for a trade on another bike at GBMSo if a rider decides they do not want another bike, again they are basically taking a loss before even leaving the GBM lotMaybe for some folks the 90% buyback sounds like and is a good deal, but in my opinion it is not enough to justify selling an average used vehicle for over *** book valueHowever GBM INSISTS it is why their bikes are priced as they areMy final point in this story would be that most reputable and conscientious businesses would not let a customer walk for $on a year old beginner bike EVEN if they were taking a small loss, (which I am SURE they were not), as they could EASILY make up for the difference in purchase of accessories and service, as most people, (including my daughter) would make those purchase where they purchased the bikeAnd especially with an year old new rider, the potential for future purchases and service visits could be a LONG time if treated right with the initial purchaseBut instead GBM chose to lose a potential long time customer, over a small amount of money up frontAnd I do not put all the blame on the sales person as all the information and decisions made by GBM were done after discussions with, and approval from the manager at the dealership

Hi,
My name is *** C*** from Ipswich,MA
This is a Product, Service and Repair issue I purchased a brand new *** *** GPfrom Cycles *** ** *** ** At around hours or so I noticed more and more water in the hull of the machineI had also noticed louder vibrations coming from the drive system I had then scheduled for maintenance shortly after It was determined at that point by the service department that the water was coming in through the front latch I had also made reference to the front latch being loose as well so I took this information to be true and accurate They tightened the front storage hatch after I begged them to because they said they couldn’t at first but then said it was all set As far as the vibrations they said that this was for the machine that the impeller chatters as it gets used more I took the machine back and continued to ride These machines have a bilge system where it will suck water out

On May 5, 2016, I went to Cycles and spoke to *** *** about my wave runner having problems startingI also told him I had water inside the hull I wasn't sure if it was the starter or something else that was causing it On May 7, 2016, they called me and said it was $so far and needed a $deposit to do another 3-hours of work just to determine what the problem was They thought it was a frozen starterOn May 9, 2016, *** called me and said he needed to remove the starter to narrow the diagnosisThey said it would cost $ They installed a new starter and new ground and positive wires from battery to starter They said on June 28, that it was starting with no problem and no leaks were foundI put it in the water for the first time on July 4, and it wouldn't start I brought it back to Cycles and one of the workers checked it over and said it was not the starter motor and there were gallons of water in the hull He concluded that the proble

I have had finance accounts with Recreational Finance for the better part of six yearsI make twice-monthly payments through my checking accountI learned that they do this manually, and on occasion, they miss or forget, and I get a surprise debit from my accountMost recently, I started to receive "late notices" for my paymentsThis makes NO SENSE, as it comes directly from my checking accountWhen I called, I was told they hired a new girl and that my file must have fallen behind the drawer, and that it would be fixedThis was about weeks ago from today, April
TODAY, I am at a dealership about to buy a car, and I get an email from my credit alert serviceThese dingbats posted their scron my credit report!??!!!!!!!!!! Now, this deal is out the window, and I KNOW I have to wait at least days before this can be removed from my credit reportWHY DO I HAVE TO SUFFER FROM THEIR INCOMPETENCE!!? If anyone knows if I can take legal action, please let me knowI've had itNext stop is the attorney general, and the company ownerI cannot move on the car I was going to buy now, and it's not anything I did!
