The rehearsal was not the only thing that was missed or done incorrectly . As you can see on the attached addendum which I had paid in full a full days prior to our event, I paid for an extra bridesmaids bouquets and there were only delivered. And all of the bouquets and boutienerres we received were completely a disaster. Myself as the bride had to create a full 3rd bouquet an hour prior to our ceremony so all of my bridesmaids had one to carry. I paid $for the missing bouquet. Not to mention all the flowers delivered looked awful! There was soaking wet, fringed burlap kinda wrapped around the stems. My bouquet was nothing like the images I had sent her prior and we had to completely take it apart and recreate a new one. Pictures attached of what we received and what we were able to do to them. And our wedding cake was suppose to have tiers as the addendum notes included at no extra charge. The picture I sent for how we wanted the cake to look also had three tiers. What we got was only tiers. This is totally unacceptable. *** was not in contact with me. The day of coordinator we were assigned was a relative of some sort to *** and when *** found out she was no longer available to work with us on our day, I did not hear back from her after trying multiple times trying to reach her weeks after my original attempt. Not professional again! This company is a joke and the way that she responds to complains is totally unprofesssional. I have multiple emails and text messages I can provide showing the level of unprofessionalism she has showed the last month prior to our wedding. Yes the vendors were perfect because I FOUND THEM MYSELF WITH NO HELP FROM HER!! I ended up having to hire my own ukuele player for our wedding after having *** falling through on that also. She charged me $for the supposed "deposit" our lost day of coordinator apparently put down for their hired ukuele player. I found my own restaurant and provided all the decorations for the ceremony site and reception dinner location. The only think *** provided was the poufs on the sand with the chuppa arch. She also failed to set the minister up with the wireless mic which was also on our original contract I paid her for. It is funny she forgets all these small little details now that she has been paid in full. But not once did she apologize for not comming to our room to meet myself or my husband. She not once introduced her self to either of us or anyone in our wedding party. Why...most likely because she was embarassed at her behavior and what she had done up to that point. I am disgusted at this company and this woman who calls herself a wedding planner or coordinator.

*** *** *** ***

We deeply regret that this newly married couple are not satisfied with thier experience with us.  We had to replace their original coordinator that had met with them initially. We spoke on the phone a number of times and were able to make the necessary adjustments but their rehearsal was...

overlooked.  When we realized that, we offered to video conference with the group and the client refused out of anger.  When we communicated later that evening, asking if there was anything unique or what we should know for the wedding the following day, the client ignored our questions.  The wedding the following day was absolutely lovely, everything began on time and did not have any problems with any of the vendors.  We charge $150 for rehearsals and feel that is what is owed to this client.  We hope that this client remembers the lovely day they had with friends and family and not this.. We saw a beautiful and near perfect wedding ... Thank you for this opportunity to communicate with the public about this.  Sincerely, [redacted] Weddings of San Diego

Dear [redacted],
I appreciate you contacting us regarding this
complaint. We like that the Revdex.com understands that there are two sides to every
story and in this case the facts are pretty much the same just different views
of the situation.
The client (we will call her Mrs.[redacted] C.*) Mrs. [redacted]
did contact us about a groupon deal that we were running in regards to a
surprise 10 year anniv. vow renewal. At the time she stated that she did not
want her husband to find out about it so she wasnt able to use the normal
method of deposit with a credit card or paypal.
1.  At the August 13,
2014 meeting, [redacted], Rev., R.N.
suggested Lucila pay the initial $100 “holding fee” and they would speak
amongst themselves to arrange payment for the remaining funds to follow, as
they both reside in Coronado and Ms. [redacted] felt this the best solution for
her..  She did not follow up with Lucila
at any pont afterwards to obtain the additional funds.
That is the reason why we offered her a 10% discount.
1.  I was DIRECTLY told
on our T/C-- PRIOR to our meeting—AND at the meeting (August 13) (reiterated in
front of Lucila at the meeting) she was offering the 10% discount as an additional
discount for circumventing Groupon.  She
stated it was in her best interest to obtain ALL the monies rather than paying
Groupon.
She didn't want her husband to know and it would be all in
cash. We did meet on Aug. 13th to discuss details of the ceremony and
at the end of the meeting she choose to retain our services by signing the
contract and giving us a $100 deposit. Enclosed are scanned copies of the
contract with her signature.
She did text stating that she would not be able to come up
with the rest of the money for the ceremony and wanted to cancel.
1.  I texted (August
26, 2014) there were some serious financial and child issues and INQUIRED if it
was possible to  cancel (9:47 am).  Her response:
“awwww sweetie: (I’m so sorry…I will still help you though…why don’t you
just surprise him with a beach renewal ceremony..no chairs no hoopla..just you
and he…and it’ll make it even more special.” (9:21 am) ALL ON 8/26/2014
I responded at 9:40 am:
I’m in my way to school.  Will
call on break!”
2.  I called
approximately prior to my 9:15 am Managerial Accounting class.  She suggested three (3) times not to cancel
and she would perform the ceremony for $150.00.
I had already given her the $100 so I would owe only $50 more.  Would that help my decision?  I inquired AT THAT TIME, had there been ANY
work completed re: chairs, permits, planning and she stated “NO” there had been
NOTHING done as of 8/26/14, 13 days FOLLOWING our initial meeting.  She stated we had started planning so far in
advance that we had plenty of time so nothing had been started.  I’m unclear why she is fabricating her story
to Revdex.com that work WAS completed.
Since the first time Mrs. [redacted] and my team had learned about
this event we were not only excited to do it but it touched our hearts also. We
really embraced her idea of wanting to surprise the one she loves so much with
something so sweet. We all want someone in our life that loves us and would do
something special like this to show how much they care. After a quick team
meeting regarding the text to cancel.
1.  Text inquiring to
cancel:  9:02 am
2.  Response from
[redacted]:  9:03 am
3.  My response re:
issues 9:17 am
4.  Her response (noted
above) 9:21 am
5.  My response to return
call:  9:40 am
6.  [redacted] Call 10:00 –
10:10 am (can verify with phone records if required)
When did this “team meeting” transpire to discuss their “We
all agreed that she should still be able to show the one she loves how much
,the last 10 years have meant to her and how the next 10 years will be
something to remember. We all were in agreement that in this case it wasn't
important about the money. What was important was helping this person that came
to us with an idea and vision of expressing their love for another human being.
So we took out all the extras and offered the event for $150”

had already given us the $100 deposit and we thought that coming up with $50
before Nov.8 wouldnt be a problem. Please keep in mind that this was
in August when all this was happening. At
the time if we could have just given it to her for free we would have
1.  This was NEVER a
discussion point.  I’m perplexed at this
statement.  If you were willing to give
it for free in 8/26 during our texting and T/C, why did you not express that at
that time?  If that is the case, why is
there a refusal to return funds now?
Since we couldn't we did the next best thing and offered to
do it for only $50 more. Try and find
another wedding company in So. Calif. that will perform a vow renewal ceremony
on the beach for $150. We only offered the reduced ceremony because we all
wanted to see this event happen.
1.  Unclear on the
relevance of this point?  It is
immaterial to the case discussed and an inaccurate statement.
We all agreed that
she should still be able to show the one she loves how much ,the last 10 years
have meant to her and how the next 10 years will be something to remember.
1.  UNCLEAR AS TO
components of “WE”….
We all were in agreement that in this case it wasn't important
about the money. What was important was helping this person that came to us
with an idea and vision of expressing their love for another human being. So we
took out all the extras and offered the event for $150
1.  As [redacted] stated,
this is her fee for services rendered (beach vow renewal ceremony), NOT a
reduction from the Groupon rate.   I am
unclear as to the “team” she is referencing.
The deposit is a non refundable fee. We put in a good amount of time
with Mrs.[redacted].
She even states that
in her complaint. We spent time on planning and organizing services.
1.  This is a bold face
lie based on our telephone conversation.
[redacted] SPECIFICALLY stated there had been NO forward progress regarding
the ceremony at the time of texting and phone conversations August 26th.  There was no need for any ADDITIONAL planning;  the only “service” was that of performing a
10 – 15 minute ceremony where my husband and I were exchanging sentiments. She
was only going to say a few words and deliver a Christian prayer at conclusion.
2.  The contract
nowhere states the holding deposit is non-refundable nor was this discussed at
any time.
Even though there was no money to be made on the deal we
still treated her like we would anyone else. We gave her the time we could have
been using for other couples. We reserved that day on our calendar for Mrs. [redacted]
because we care about our clients. It is unfortunate that we have a different
perspective on this situation but our goal was never to have a client leave
with a negative memory or bad taste in their mouth in regards to their
experience with us. Our goal is exactly the opposite. We help people live their
dreams and create unforgettable experiences no matter what kind of budget they
have. That is our motto... Live your dreams.
So I would like to end this correspondence with a
couple of thoughts and questions. Why does company ask for a deposit in the
first place? What really is a deposit for? I googled it and this is the
response.
DEPOSIT:
 noun

1.
a sum of money placed or kept in a bank account, usually to
gain interest.

2.
a sum payable as a first installment on the purchase of
something or as a pledge for a contract, the balance being payable later.
"we've saved enough for a deposit on a
house"
synonyms:
down payment,advance payment,prepayment,installment,retainer,stake("they paid a deposit")

We put a lot of time
and consideration into Mrs. [redacted]. We spent time searching for a venue for her
ceremony, We arranged for the chairs
to be delivered and set up Nov.08 and at that time we placed a
deposit on the only because we had a signed contract. The minister assigned for
the event even created her a custom vow renewal ceremony.(ATTACHED COPY)
1.  This is
UNTRUE.  LOU and I picked TIDELANDS (note
the contract) as the spot the day of the meeting and informed [redacted] at that
time.  She was unorganized and disheveled,
bringing red flags to her professionalism and character.
2.  I informed her I
would be writing my own vows; if she ([redacted] stated SHE is the minister) wrote
vows it was on her own accord as this was not part of the agreement between me,
Lucila, and [redacted].  I am unclear to when
these “vows” were written but it was never disclosed or discussed with me at
ANY time.
3.  She stated in the
telephone conversation August 26, 2014 NOTHING had been done regarding
planning, permits, ordering, etc.  It was
so far in advance, it was unnecessary to complete these tasks until the first
of October.
Even when she came to
us and said she could not live her dream because she didn't have enough money
we still bent over backwards to help her achieve that goal.
1.  I have NEVER
uttered those words and that is a mistruth.
I stated I could not afford a $2000 ceremony, which in no way is “my
dream.” -
Her $100 deposit for services was explained to her before
and at the time of the contract signing that is was a non refundable deposit.
1.  This was NEVER
stated to Lou and I that it was non-refundable.
Stating that we should be investigated for potentially
fraudulent business practices is way beyond what Weddings of San Diego/Coronado
team can even begin to comprehend. At first we questioned our decision and
questioned if we should bend over backwards for clients and customers in the
future. Then we realized that we can't let one bad apple spoil it for the
rest.. We are

when not a member is leading customers to believe there is membership and
protection offered from that membership.
[redacted] stated she is not affiliated with the Revdex.com and
the logo has since been removed.  That is
false advertising on the part of this company.

Thank you once again Revdex.com for hearing both sides and we look
forward to hearing back from you regarding this. We also look forward to seeing
our response next to the letter that Mrs. [redacted] submitted to you for people to
decide for themselves what happened  based on the information given. They
will see that both Mrs. [redacted] and ourselves are stating the same facts and same
information. We did nothing wrong.
 1.  I am dismayed
that a Reverend would issue false business statements as well as blatant
mistruths.  Fortunately, there was a
witness to our meeting and we are requesting our funds returned based on the
meeting August 13, 2014, the text messages and telephone conversation August
26, 2014, and emails exchanged.   The
intial phone conversation was too good to be true.  Caveat Emptor.
I accept nothing less than the return of the $100.  No services performed; no payment to be
received.

Review: There was a Groupon http://www.groupon.com/deals/weddings-of-san-diego that was advertised for $498 for a deal on a wedding package. I called her to discuss what the package entailed. She requested I go through her and NOT purchase the Groupon and by doing so would discount and additional 10%.We arranged to meet at 11:30 am Wednesday August 13 where my friend, [redacted], me, and [redacted] met at Tartine restaurant in Coronado to discuss the plans for my surprise 10 year wedding vow renewal ceremony. The contract was signed; it included chairs, arch, permit for Tidelands Park, and performance of ceremony. [redacted] gave [redacted] $100.00 cash to hold the November 8, 2014 date, with the rest to follow. Several emails that went back and forth regarding additional services, charges, and venue location (see attached). On 8/26/2014, [redacted] and I exchanged text messages (I still have on my phone) that amended contract. I had an emergency pet procedure that took all my funds. I texted to cancel the ceremony, however her response was: " surprise him with a beach renewal ceremony...no chairs no hooplah...just you and he...and it'll make it even more special" at 9:40 am. I responded at 9:43 am. I followed up with a phone call at approximately 10:10 am, during my school break.. The telephone conversation clarified her text regarding downsizing and relocating from Tidelands Park in Coronado to Coronado Beach, since no permit is required if there are no chairs or structures, reducing the cost from $450.00 to $150.00, assisting my plight of financial difficulties ensuing from my pet's emergency hospital care.I emailed Monday October 6, 2014 at 8:48 pm solidifying the plans and inquiring about sand. Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at 10:09 pm I followed up with another email, based on no response from the first email. [redacted] responded Wednesday, October 8, at 1:33 am with questions. Based on response time and the questions, I chose to have [redacted] perform the cDesired Settlement: 1. $100 dollars be refunded immediately as terms of 30 day cancellation met.2. Weddings of San Diego be investigated for potentially fraudulent business practices.3. Documentation of emails and texts support a contradictory story than that of factual evidence and witnessed conversations.
