credit is issued with a receipt to the customer and then we keep record of it in store in case they lose their receipt. There was a discrepancy in the reason for the return causing confusion. The rain gear was not discolored, a single boot was faded, but could have been easily replaced. The return day only one set was returned, at the time we were told because her mother in law had bought a set without her knowing and so she didn't need 2 sets after all. (This was verified by a 2nd person in the store at the beginning of the return.)
In fairness to the person who upset her, this customers husband came in and "watched" the employee to see how she interacted with customers and reported to me that she did a good job. He called me 2 days after the incident. I fully refunded both sets, 2 days later, because the customer was upset with her customer service (via her husband). I, the CEO, was not here that day and can only say that the person helping her is usually excellent with customers. We have talked over this situation and how not to elevate such a circumstance.
It is our goal at Wee Three to provide a welcoming and refreshing atmosphere to our customers, and are apologetic that this customers experience was not.

Once the owner of the store was able to get involved every thing was completely cleared up. I definetly would go back & shop there. I think the employee was simply having a bad day & I don't fault her for it in any way. I have shopped at the store before & thought she was wonderful & I only contacted Revdex.com because I felt unheared. Thank you Revdex.com & thank you Wee Three.
