Weihl's Moving and Delivery

I'm not really sure if the owner was having an off day, or didn't write my appointment down on the correct day or something, but this is how my experience went.....

I reached out to them a couple of weeks ago on ***, and I was a little concerned because they didn't have any review yet. I did see that they were a newer business though, so I was happy to give them a shot!

They got back to me pretty quickly and we scheduled a time, and they even accommodated when I had to change the time to a little later in the day. The day and time came and I waited until 15 minutes after our scheduled time, just to check in and see what was up. I would have TOTALLY understood if they were running late with a different move before me, these things can happen.

When I called the number that "the owner" gave me on ***, a guy answered, super chill just like anyone would be if they were sitting on the couch watching TV. As soon as I told him who I was, he hung up on me.

I thought "uhh, weird? Maybe he didn't hear me?" so I called him back.......10 phone calls later and I'm just sitting there listening to a generic voicemail recording again. I even call the general business number that *** has and get voicemail.

I'm an overly-understanding person, but this is when I get upset. I'm already in the stressful situation of moving - LUCKILY my leases overlap, so I have a little bit more wiggle room than the average person's situation, I think. But I'm upset.

In the meantime, my boyfriend places a decoy call, because he's upset for me. He calls the general number and says that he needs to schedule a move.

After I post my negative review on ***, THEN I get a TEXT from "the owner" apologizing for the "miscommunication", saying that he left his phone in the truck, had a previous move, AND that he had broken his foot and was in the hospital "as we speak". ð??

Dude, if you're not gonna keep an actual schedule of your appointments, then at least get better at lying?? Just stick with one.

After that text, "THE OWNER" (who, again, I have been in communication with this entire time, the one with the ~broken foot~) calls my boyfriend back about the fake move. He did not at all mention ANYTHING about a broken foot and did not sound like he was in pain in the slightest, just chill. The owner on the phone told him that they could schedule something this Saturday. (I'm posting this on a Thursday,)

I got a *** message from the owner as well, asking if there was anything he could do to fix it, and I guess I appreciate that, but dude...if you forgot about me, just say that you did, or try to reschedule. Don't ignore my phone call.

All in all, I wish this dude the very best, I just wanted everyone to know what could happen, maybe don't schedule this company if you're in a time crunch. I'll certainly be going elsewhere.
