Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2017/10/20) */
Vehicle was diagnosed to find no seizing of calipers at time of inspection
The brake pads were stuck in the carriers and worn out
No Comprehensive service has been done to the vehicle which would have freed up this concernHow we know that
, we have all her service records from Mazda Canada
She communicated to my Service Dept that her boyfriend does this type of serviceAnd he's not a licensed mechanic
Any repairs to the calipers and braking system in the rear of the vehicle should be reimbursed by Mazda CanadaA form was given to the customer with instructions and phone #'s
Regards to the vehicle's condition their was numerous scratched all over the vehicleI personally communicated in front of the customer and my Service Mngr to have the car cleaned inside and out, buffed and washed and the dent fixed
When the vehicle was taken to my detail dept my detailer said which scratch to fix their was so manyWhen delivered to the customer the vehicle looked fantastic
This still didn't satisfy the customer
City Mazda went the extra mile to help this customer and we are good and this concern is closed
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2017/10/22) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
City Mazda continuously states that they think the car looks fantastic but refuses to realize that the car had none of the dents or scratches that they caused before it came in to their shop and should therefore be fixedAlso, had they done the full brake inspection that I was charged for, they would have checked the wear on the pads and realized it was the caliperThey are refusing to fix the damage they caused and ignoring the fact that they didn't actually do the brake inspection I was charged for

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 10, 2016/09/21) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
This response has nothing to do with our complaint. We're asking for a confirmation letter to [redacted] (which we were told twice in the last 3 months he (Steve) the owner)would do this). To confirm that on the date of January 25, 2016 they were still in the midst of transferring the title[redacted]. Also [redacted] went to [redacted] to get this dealt with, waited 3 hours all for [redacted] to tell her that, like he had said before "he would take care of it and that she didn't have to do that" and it took until the next a day or the day after still. They then contacted us and said it would be at the front desk. Also City Mazda did not say that we couldn't drive the car, actually to the contrary they said "you can certainly drive away we will take care of the title transfer"[redacted]) also they said they would change the spark plugs and didn't.([redacted] But why would they allow us to insure a vehicle we were clearly Not approved for the car. I feel that they accommodated anything to get this sale ...now I am paying $[redacted] including cost of the car, gst, registration fee[redacted] Administration fee.[redacted]
Sincerely :
[redacted]
Final Business Response /* (4000, 12, 2016/09/24) */
