Hello, The customer purchased a truck from us that was a bare cab and chassisWe ordered the body with him the same day he purchased the truckUnfortunately the body took longer than expected to arrive to the body companyBelow is a letter from the body companyIf there is anything else I can provide please let me know [redacted] Weirs Buick GMC###-###-####www.weirsbuickgmc.com To whom it may concern,I just wanted to explain and apologize for the delayed installation of the [redacted] MD92DS drop-side dump body that was completed earlier this weekI also want to make it clear that [redacted] was diligent in communicating his concerns regarding the delivery status of the body during the entire processWhen we ordered the body on July 28th our expectation was to receive the dump body in a average manufacturing time frame from [redacted] of about weeksAs the delivery date neared, we checked on the order status with [redacted] and were given preliminary load dates of when we should anticipate delivery to our facility and we scheduled a tentative installation date but the body never arrivedThese shipment irregularities occurred over several weeks with no real explanation as to the causeThis made it very difficult to project any completion date to [redacted] due to not really knowing what was holding up the shipmentsFinally, after several phone conversations, [redacted] informed us that they were having some manufacturing/QC issues and that these issues had caused the shipping department to lag behind schedule pushing everybody’s delivery’s out 2-weeks [redacted] has since rectified their internal issues and we did receive the body here at our South Portland, ME facility where we worked to schedule and complete this project in the shortest time frame possibleUnfortunately, this experience has caused your customer great dissatisfactionAgain, I hope you can accept my sincerest apologies for the late completion of this project and hope that you will not lose faith in [redacted] ***, [redacted] product or our commitment to our dealers and your customers.If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me directlyKind regards, [redacted] South Portland, ME 04106###-###-#######-###-####
