Weis Markets Reviews (8)

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below The company is lying and has not ever responded to my initial inquiry(I mean, if I they had responded to the initial questions, I would have considered that a way that companies handle business and the matter would have been closedObviously.) This response to the Revdex.com letter is the ONLY response I have ever received, and it still does not answer my original two questionsI would like an answer to my two questionsIn addition, I would like to know why the company couldn't just respond to the initial inquiry in a timely mannerWe are going on months for a basic web inquiry -- no profanity -- and the company has not respondedMy profanity-laced tweets are in response to their PR director asking me in a phone call, "who the hell are you to ask us to respond to a web inquiry?" I'm a customer -- aren't web inquiries allowed? No other company in the world refuses to answer a basic question, then makes fun of the customer for asking the questionAnyone would have been irate when they just wanted the answer to a basic service inquiry, and they are met with no answers and a company who mocks their customers for even answering a questionI'm not sorry that this little grocery store chain is afraid of a bad wordGrow up Meanwhile, the company recently blocked my Facebook account when I simply asked why no one had respondedNo profanity, just a simple question(No screenshots available as the conversation is "blocked" also.) How can any company operate like this? Just answer the questions! They just block, block, blockThey have never answered two basic questions. The company's response -- again, their first attempt at addressing this issue, I might add -- says they "attempted to address Mr [redacted] 's concerns in a courteous, respectful way." This is an absolute lieMy question has never been addressedWeis: show where you ever responded to my inquiriesShow where you did it in a timely manner. Were Weis to actually answer my two questions in this Revdex.com dispute, I will consider the matter closedI also want an answer as to why they didn't respond initially, and why their behavior has been so terrible over these past monthsAll they ever needed to do was respondThey have been completely unprofessional at every level.Weis Markets can answer the two questions of the inquiryThey can also explain why they did not answer "within business days" as their email responder statedThen they can explain why they drag this out and do unprofessional things instead of just responding TO THE QUESTIONS the first time I answered why I didn't get a responseThen the matter will be closedIf they fail to do these things, they will continue to be met with Revdex.com inquiries, bad web press, more emails asking for a response, and other efforts to simply get answers to two questions in Until then, this matter is not closed.Let's all just remember: I sent a web inquiry, and all the company needed to do was respondEverything after that is just nonsenseStop with the he-said-she-said, and be a professional company and ANSWER MY QUESTIONSCertainly it was in the company's best interests to just answer the initial inquiry right away Regards, [redacted]

Please change the desired outcome to: I expect the company to respond to my inquiry, and to all customer inquiries

My inquiry to the company was this...I have a Weis shopper account but I do not have the cardsDo I need to keep the number and have a new card with that number sent to my address? What is the process? Also, why, when I shop at your stores without my card, am I required to speak my phone number to
the cashier? There are many problems with this, including:* Slows down the checkout process for me and all customers in line * It’s a privacy concern because other people are hearing my phone number * There’s a potential miscommunication problem where the cashier mistypes the number and/or doesn’t hear the number correctly, again slowing things down. Every other grocery chain I’ve ever visited allows me to simply type my phone number into a keypad, where I can do it during the checkout process (not slowing anyone down) and without fear of other people hearing my number or a cashier typing it wrongWhy can’t you implement this same procedure? my third question to the business is now this: why weren't these two questions answered? Instead, you block social media accounts and ignore all correspondenceThese questions are not unreasonableThe only unreasonable party here has been Weis MarketsPlease answer my three questions

August 23, 2017To Whom It May Concern:  We are writing in response to [redacted]’s August 18 Revdex.com complaint re: our alleged failure to respond his concerns. Our records show Mr. [redacted] received his response when he called our company’s Director of Public Relations on September 8, 2015 at 2:50 EST. Our associate attempted to address his concerns. Unfortunately, Mr. [redacted] was extremely argumentative and abusive during the eight minute call. When our associate asked Mr. [redacted] to stop dropping the f-bomb, he said he had a right use this word because we were a “faceless corporation.”  On Jan 13, 2016, Mr. [redacted] directed two verbally abusive and profanity-laced tweets to our PR director’s attention. The tweets were issued from [redacted] and are included below. Since this incident, Mr. [redacted] has been blocked from our PR director’s account and Weis Markets’ Twitter and Facebook account.  We attempted to address Mr. [redacted]’s concerns in a courteous, respectful way. Unfortunately, he was unwilling to let us respond. We consider this a closed matter and will have no additional comment.  Weis Markets Inc.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.  The company is lying and has not ever responded to my initial inquiry. (I mean, if I they had responded to the initial questions, I would have considered that a normal way that companies handle business and the matter would have been closed. Obviously.) This response to the Revdex.com letter is the ONLY response I have ever received, and it still does not answer my original two questions. I would like an answer to my two questions. In addition, I would like to know why the company couldn't just respond to the initial inquiry in a timely manner. We are going on 32 months for a basic web inquiry -- no profanity -- and the company has not responded. My profanity-laced tweets are in response to their PR director asking me in a phone call, "who the hell are you to ask us to respond to a web inquiry?" I'm a customer -- aren't web inquiries allowed? No other company in the world refuses to answer a basic question, then makes fun of the customer for asking the question. Anyone would have been irate when they just wanted the answer to a basic service inquiry, and they are met with no answers and a company who mocks their customers for even answering a question. I'm not sorry that this little grocery store chain is afraid of a bad word. Grow up.  Meanwhile, the company recently blocked my Facebook account when I simply asked why no one had responded. No profanity, just a simple question. (No screenshots available as the conversation is "blocked" also.) How can any company operate like this? Just answer the questions! They just block, block, block. They have never answered two basic questions. The company's response -- again, their first attempt at addressing this issue, I might add -- says they "attempted to address Mr. [redacted]'s concerns in a courteous, respectful way." This is an absolute lie. My question has never been addressed. Weis: show where you ever responded to my inquiries. Show where you did it in a timely manner. Were Weis to actually answer my two questions in this Revdex.com dispute, I will consider the matter closed. I also want an answer as to why they didn't respond initially, and why their behavior has been so terrible over these past months. All they ever needed to do was respond. They have been completely unprofessional at every level.Weis Markets can answer the two questions of the inquiry. They can also explain why they did not answer "within 7 business days" as their email responder stated. Then they can explain why they drag this out and do unprofessional things instead of just responding TO THE QUESTIONS the first time I answered why I didn't get a response. Then the matter will be closed. If they fail to do these things, they will continue to be met with Revdex.com inquiries, bad web press, more emails asking for a response, and other efforts to simply get answers to two questions in 2015. Until then, this matter is not closed.Let's all just remember: I sent a web inquiry, and all the company needed to do was respond. Everything after that is just nonsense. Stop with the he-said-she-said, and be a professional company and ANSWER MY QUESTIONS. Certainly it was in the company's best interests to just answer the initial inquiry right away.  Regards,    [redacted]
