Complaint: I am rejecting this response because: The store was empty no customers at the time and I waited around for hour and as stated previously he refused to give a refund and said I could wait around all day that he has to think about it He has the bed and never called for me to come in to issue a refund like he said he would it's been over weeks On April 3rd however my credit card company has issued a chargeback to the merchant This is no way to operate a buisness Sincerely, Richard Andrews

On 10/11/ [redacted] purchased a Full size set of bedding for one of his children He came back on 10/12/and asked us to change to Queen set and Queen bed for him and his wife He paid the difference to upgrade to a better set of Queen size bedding and also purchase a Queen bed(headboard, footboard and rails) We gave him a package deal because he was going to come in first thing 10/13/and purchase the rest of the bedroom set When he did not come in he was called to see if he was going to come in to get the rest of the set He said he did not have the money at the time but would be back in a month to get the rest of the bedroom set We were not thrilled to break up a set then possibly wait for him to come back and buy the rest of the set; however agreed to honor the sale and sent the delivery out on 10/13/ [redacted] came home while the delivery was in progress and was verbally abusive to the delivery guys and his wife in front of our delivery guys He then refused delivery and drove to our store He then decided to change his order again and get a different bed and have the mattress boxspring and a bed frame delivered on 10/13/which we did and did not charge him any additional delivery fee (all these were signed off on in writing) We were able to add his order to a truck that was already scheduled to come in and called him to deliver the Queen bed(headboard, footbaord, and rails) on 10/23/with no additional delivery fee [redacted] has in to our store several times and called the police twice We have delivered approximately $of merchandise and called to deliver the rest of his order on 10/23/ He has also been offered a store credit for the difference as special orders can not be cancelled He also signed for and acknowledged all his changes in writing Also both sides of this story were explained to [redacted] police officers and if needed could be located for a statement but a report was not filed because they did not think any of his claims were accurate It's unfortunate that [redacted] feels the need to write to you when we have honored all our obligations and will continue to do whatever we can to make sure he is satisfied We always honor all our contracts and try to go above and beyond our obligations as we have done for [redacted] Also we have been in business in Groton since and have learned to document all contracts and changes which we can provide if you need more information I really don't know what happened with [redacted] but my guess would be.....He originally bought a full size bed for his daughter but decided he would rather have a Queen set and bed for himself and possibly a bedroom set Then changed his mind to not get the bedroom set, but take the queen set and bed, but on delivery him or his wife didn't like it and then switch to a better queen bed Now that it's in I don't know why he doesn't want it, except that he changes his mind a lot We did offer him a store credit for the difference even though this is not our policy Please let me know if you need anymore information

[redacted] was delivered her order as quickly as it became available.  It was delayed several...

times due to weather and trucking delays which caused many issues not only with us getting the furniture to her but the manufacturer moving pieces from different warehouses.  This was a very challenging winter for many businesses and caused my business delays receiving merchandise from many different manufacturers.  To accommodate [redacted] we made 2 deliveries at no charge which she agreed to and swapped out a set of tables that we let her use til the loveseat came in because she thought the tables she originally purchased were too big for her room.  Unfortunately sometimes delays are unavoidable and caused by many factors weather, accidents, human error, etc.  At Weiss Furniture we always do our best to accommodate the customer as best we can and get their order delivered as quickly as possible.     Thank you.   [redacted]

On April 3rd however my credit card company has issued a chargeback to the merchant.

Review: On 10/11/14 I went in to the store and I paid for a full sized box spring and mattress. I then later realized that what I needed was a queen set and the bed rails and head and foot boards. I paid the extra money and on the delivery day my phone rang a good three to four times and they said that they didn't want to break up pieces of furniture and asked that I put a deposit in the rest of the bedroom set. I declined cause that wasn't what I wanted, they then called me and said they were sending something different. My girlfriend had no idea what I bought cause it was a surprise for her and she was home with our children, so I decided to race homeyto beat the delivery truck in hopes she hadn't signed for anything. I got there in time and they sent me the right mattress and boxspring but a showroom headboard rails and footboard but not the one I had purchased so I denied delivery and went to the store and the owner said if I pay one hundred dollars more he would get me something better. I agreed to that and he was going to deliver on Friday, Friday came and my girlfriend called and they told her the manufacturer delivery driver got sick and it would be here Monday. Monday we both tried to call and they failed to answer. We drove to the store and they started shouting at me and I walked out and told them to not contact me.Desired Settlement: I just want the money back that they failed to deliver the goods on.

Review: I ordered a 5pc living room set and paid in full on 1/2/2015. I was told the 5pc set would be delivered to my home in 10 business days. After 15 business days I called to check the status of my delivery and was told that they would try to deliver on that Friday as there was an expected storm on Saturday. At this time I was told that my love seat was not delivered to their store, as it was on back order until mid Feb. I made it clear that I wanted/needed the entire set at once and that partial pieces would not work for me. At this point I was assured by [redacted] , one of the owners that my loveseat was NOT on back order and would be delivered with the rest of the set on Friday. They gave a window of 4-6pm for delivery. At 6pm I called as I did not receive my delivery or a phone call. I was told that they were stuck in another town and would try to deliver, but would be late. I finally received my delivery around 8p.m, without my loveseat. There was a snowstorm that Monday so I called on Wed to check the status of my love seat and was told due to the storm delivery will be delayed. Understandable.Today is February 11th and I have yet to receive my loveseat. I stopped in the store to check the status and was talked down to, yelled at, and told that I was not an understanding customer and was not going to receive any more apologies because he can't control the weather! I tried to explain several times that the weather could no longer be an excuse as it had been weeks since the snow storm. [redacted] continued to yell and finally yelled that the love seat was on back order. So it wasn't the wether at all it was on back order the entire time and I was lied to. I asked for a refund as I am greatly disatisfied with how things were handled. I was told that was not going to happen.

Review: monday late afternoon purchased a bed for $525 from [redacted] was to pick it up tuesday. tuesday morning first thing I went to see [redacted] at the store and asked for a refund.He refused my refund gave me a hard time was very loud and nasty towards me for changing my mine. He has my money I never picked up the bed. I waited around for my refund he said he was to busy no customers in the store and I said i'll wait he threatened to call police if I don't leave. He said that he would talk to his partner and call me later (never happened)He took it so personal that I changed my mine not to buy from him. Later I went online and read similar reviews from others.Can't believe he treats customers (anyone) this way and is in buisnessDesired Settlement: Never picked up the bed especially after the way he talked to me so unprofessional having a buisness and being in sales.
