Good Morning : Pete's wants to Thank Mr *** the opportunity to work at his home. We are responding to complaint Mr*** submittedMr*** was advised that his irrigation was not to codeIn order for OUR company to work on his system was to bring his system to code and install Vacuum
Breaker Assembly as needed Mr*** spoke with *** at our office and approved Pete's Landscape to repair system as needed and provided quote to do such workWe submitted a Bill when work was completed to Mr *** and as of this date no payment has been made the transaction is days PAST DUE!Pete's is a respectable company and we fully explain to the customer what is involved to complete job

We have reviewed the complaint and have scheduled our tech to go out to the *** residence on Saturday the 22ndWe will call and confirm our appointment to rectify the issue

Dr*** job was completed in fullAfter several threats to our employee's from Dr*** none of our employee's would not go back to her residence. I had to send Pete to her residencePete's has a excellent reputation and believe in customer service but Dr*** was
very threatening and yelling at our employees and office personnelDr***was not happy because our foreman could not set her EXISTING TIMER , Pete set her timer and then received a call that she was not happy with the clean upSo we sent out the crew again and did another clean upAfter making several attempts to satisfy Dr*** she was still not happy and could not put up with her threatening and verbal abuseI'm sorry Pete's will not refund for any work all work was completed per our contract

We made an attempt to contact Customer but there was no responseOn Tuesday the 24th Pete and and the delivery driver visited the customer and rectified the problem

I am rejecting this response because: I am rejecting their response, at this time, because nothing has been offered to solve this dilemma. And in response to their response:1. There was no rototilling done. I informed the salesperson , James P***, that there may be rocks under the surface and to be careful if they rototillHe made the decision to use a top soil that they lay on top of the ground in lieu of rototilling
2. As to the frozen ground, I'm talking about the top soil in MY yard - not the sod farm. My soil was frozen solid.3. "At the time Mr*** (sic) stated, 'That he realized that he had not watered enough because he did not reside a this location all the time...'". This is a complete fabrication of the truth! I am at the *** location seven-days-a-week. I was given a watering cycle before the sod was put in by the salesperson, James P***, and again when the sod was put in. I faithfully watered with this cycle from day 1. I bought a sprinkler from *** *** that attaches to a hose and waters the entire area. Their foreman looked at this system and said it would work just fine.4. Pete's Landscaping called this morning (7/22) and they are coming over this Saturday (7/25) between and PM to look at the sod.5. After this meeting on Saturday, maybe an agreement can be reached

We have set up at time to address concern's for Mr***'s sod on Saturday 25thI'm sure we can resolve any concern's with sod

We have been in contact with Mr. [redacted] and have arranged to deliver some additional wood for him today 11-11-15. Pete's will have customer sign that they are completely satisfied. Pete's strives on customer service and will assure they will be happy.

I am rejecting this response because:  Saturday, 7/25/15, I met with J.R., The representative of Pete's Landscaping , to resolve this issue.  Their proposal, as I understand it, is this:1.  They will take-up the old sod, rototill, put in new top soil and prepare the new topsoil for the laying of new sod.  They will do this at the company's expense (approx. $575).2.  I will be required to pay for the new sod ($975) and the new sod will not have a warranty because I do not have a sprinkler system with a timer for watering 800 sq. ft. of new sod.I am rejecting this proposal because their workmanship was responsible for the problems I had with the old sod.  I would be paying them to fix the problems they caused.  I would be paying $975 more on the original sum of $4,815 (there is a typo on the original complaint - it should be $4,815 an not $4,315).

In response to complaint filed we did a sod installation for Mr. [redacted]. At the time of installation there was no issue of installing the new lawn. Sod installation was installed by removing all the weeds, preparing the soil with new topsoil, rototilling, level, roll and lay the new sod. Mr. [redacted]...

expressed that he was concerned that the ground was frozen it was not . IF so the sod farm what not have been able to provide the sod. Mr. [redacted] called our office about a month later Mr. [redacted] called our office expressing his concern for the sod. A representative from our office went to check out the concerns of Mr.[redacted]. Our company representative expressed to Mr. [redacted] that the sod had not been watered he had several brown spots  throughout yard. At that time Mr. [redacted] stated " that he realized that he did not water enough because he did not reside at this location all the time. We suggested a watering cycle to the customer since he did NOT have a sprinkler system. We will be happy to visit with Mr. [redacted] home again to resolve any issues our concern's with his installation. Our office will call again and set up an appointment.

In response to complaint from Mr. [redacted]. Pete's installed his system over two years ago. When Mr.[redacted] called in for repair Pete's explained his warranty was for one year parts and labor. Pete's explained the charge of the repair of $75.00 per hour with a two hour min. plus parts.The initial...

complaint was a leak on top of vacume breaker and that was repaired. Mr. [redacted] called back and then stated the timer was not coming on as scheduled so we sent out our tech a second time found out customer did not have timer set up properly advised how to set up and now we receive this complaint. I've contacted Mr.[redacted] and advised him that I can send out the tech and see what problem he is addressing and we will be happy to take care of any issue. Mr. [redacted] has not made any payment. All the times we have sent a tech he states"he's not available " so he has someone else  there. For this next appointment I will require for Mr. [redacted] to be present and sign off on repair completed and is satisfied. Pete's can not warranty system for life. There will be a charge for repairs completed.
