Review: 2 years ago my husband and I purchased a home from Welcome Homes. Since then we have had nothing but problems with this business. When we do have issues that need addressed the blame seems to be reversed on us and the problem has yet to be resolved. The main problem that we have had is where the house comes together, the ceiling continues to crack. We expected the ceiling to crack within the first year as the house settled, but since then it has cracked four times. It has been "fixed" four times with the ceiling never being completed as in being painted after primed and leaving our house a mess. The last repair was on July 1st, which again the house was left a mess and the ceiling was only primed not painted. After attempting to reach the service manager by phone and email with no response without calling him back, I was told that it is not their responsibility to paint my ceiling as they have done nothing wrong. My husband and I have decided to report this business the Revdex.com in hopes that other people do not have these issues with a brand new home.Desired Settlement: We want the ceiling fixed the correct way and for them to buy the paint and finish painting the ceiling as I don't believe this is our responsibility.

Welcome Home Centers made drywall ceiling repairs on 3/4/13 and 7/1/13. Our procedure during this process is to cut out the cracked area, refill with drywall mud, apply drywall tape and primer paint the affected area. On the 7/1/13 repair an inspection of the floor and the ceiling of the home found that all lagging was tight and properly spaced. When making drywall repairs Welcome Home Centers only uses primer and does not repaint entire ceilings or rooms.
[redacted] signed both the enclosed work orders upon completion of the service work completed on the home. The customer has been notified that if the crack appears again an inspection can be scheduled with the home manufacturer [redacted].
