My previous health insurance was cancelled when I lost my job, and I had to switch to StaywellAfter a Doctors visit my prescription was denied at the pharmacy by insurance due to another primary insuranceI called Staywell, and after a long time I was told it was taken care of, and that it would take up to hours to update in their systemhours later it had notI decided to give them the benefit of the doubt due to the fact that Thanksgiving was that week, and they may be behindOver a week later I got my monthly Doctors visit to refill my pain medication for spinal nerve damageNow I need these pills to function, but it was denied again, on both medications since I was picking up the older one as well, for the same reasonI called, and customer service was as helpful as they could be, but when they transferred me to their Pharmacy deptI was told that they have the cancellation date of my previous insurance, but that there was nothing they could do until it updated in their system, and that it would take another hoursI tried to explain the situation to the lady on the other end, but all she would do is repeat the same thing over and over despite the fact that I'm in need of this medication, it's already been over a week when I was originally told hours, and now they want me to wait another hoursI got fed up with being talked down to like that, and requested to speak to a Manager, and was put on holdEventually The same woman picked up and told me "my Manager said that they're just going to tell you the same thing." I then requested the managers name, and she ignored me, and just repeated the same thing as before againAt this point I said "fine, bye" and she told me to stay on the line to take a survey! I did so I could report the service, but of course I didn't get the survey, she just hung up on meI called customer service again at this point to report what had happenedThey were nice at least, but were limited on what they could doI was told the Pharmacy was the only dept that could helpI didn't want to deal with them again, but I was desperate, and requested to be directly connected to the ManagerI waited on hold, Customer service kept checking on me, but the hold was taking foreverEventually I got someone from the Pharmacy who not only was not the manager, but it sounded like the same woman as before! She told me that the manager was on the other line with someone and asked if they could call me back so I wouldn't have to be on holdShe read me back my phone number to make sure they had it correct, and said they would return my call within hourssome odd hours later, and I have yet to hear from themThis most recent incident happened on Nov 28th, at about 11:30AMBy the time I was off the phone, it was about 1:30PmMy Mother in law went lent me money to pay it in cash, and my wife went and got me my meds without any insurance, straight cashI'm so infuriated with it, I'm dreading calling to find out about when the issue is finally fixed

Staywell insurance is a company ran by tyrants. They apparently feel the need to send out letters regaurding a persons BMI.
The letter says the following "Our records show that it's time to talk to your health care provider about your body mass index(BMI)"
My medical records show I have a healthy bmi and I feel this letter was just used as a way to bully someone on their weight. Weather that be "too heavy" or "too light" these matters need to be handled by the doctor. Not some faceless insurance company.
