I call Midstate Auto Group after I have received the pre-approval letter for a car loan at their dealershipI asked for the gentleman that was listed on the letter that I was told to ask for but the person who answered the phone Bryan said he could help meIt's only my phone a car listed on his website but I was interested inHe took my information and emailed me back to tell me I needed a cosignerSo I got a cosignerHe kept telling me he was trying to reach my cosigner via phone and they weren't answeringWhich was untrue because I was thereI finally had to call and do a three-way phone call to get the information needed complete the applicationI told him I would be by on Sunday to test drive the vehicle I was interested in purchasingHe told me to come for p.mbecause that's the only time he had openWhen I arrived he was with other clientsSaid he'd be right with meAnother salesman offered me the keys to the vehicle so I could check it out which I didI asked for a plate so I could take it for a ride on the main roadBrian told me since the application has been completed there's no sense in me taking it for a test driveI stated that was the reason I drove all the way out to Auburn was to test drive vehicleAfter an hour and a half of driving the vehicle around the dealership lot I pretty much had to demand a plate so I could take it on the roadBrian was still with the client from earlier and never even sat down with me to discuss anythingHe finally got a plate for me and asked another salesman to go with me on a test driveThe salesman refused and said he was busy words were exchanged that we're not very professionalI took the car by myself for a quick ride and was interestedThe price listed on their website was 10KExplained the vehicle was extremely overpriced according to KBB and nada and the loan would not be approved for a vehicle that was not worth the priceIt was then told by Brian he was going to sell it to me for kI spoke with the bank and was approvedhours went by and I never heard from BrianAnxiously awaiting to hear from him I decided to email himHe then tells me I'm not approvedIt did not understand this because I've just gotten off the phone with the bankHe stated I needed a cosigner which I hadHe emails me to tell me I wasn't approved for enough money to cover the purchase of the vehicle which is now 7KI sent an email to the owner and have yet to hear backI found this dealership to be very unprofessional and have no desire to do business with them
