Having been in the water well business for over 22 years, I've developed a reputation of dealing with my customers in a straightforward and honest manner.  Although I heard [redacted] was difficult to work with I agreed to install a well at his home because a customer and good friend of mine asked me to contact him.  Although [redacted] was treated as well as my other customers, he's one of those people who no matter how hard we try we can never make happy, he will always be right and he will always have another reason not to be happy with you.

The total cost for the system is $5495 - his deposit of $2500 = a balance of $2995.

I appreciate the prompt response from the business. The specific information provided regarding the well report, pump warranty, stock and parts used is very helpful, I trust the information is accurate but I must verify. I will need a few days to complete that process. The reason I must verify and approve this job prior to providing a "final" check is because the owner of this business is less than truthful in his dealings and communicates with customers in a very unique way. Relative to honesty, his response to my initial complaint states that after the work was completed, he personally visited my home to assure I was happy with the final result. That statement sounds nice but the truth of that visit was to complete the job himself because the person he sent to my home had no idea how to complete the job. The person that was sent turned to me after fiddling back and forth with the adjusting screw on the pressure tank for about 20 minutes and said "obviously I don't know what I am doing". " I have never seen this set-up before". We'll have to wait for [redacted] to complete this. My intention with this Revdex.com complaint is not to go into detail here regarding the way this owner treats his customers, I will if necessary, talk to the proper authorities about that aspect of this situation. My lack of trust and confidence going back to the initial test holes that were supposedly performed on my property raised the original red flag. After getting a ball park figure on the retail cost of all parts used in this job, I will have to assume the balance of his invoice is related to labor. I will attempt to determine his hourly labor rate based on the hours spent working on site and if reasonable or within industry standards, I will immediately pay him in full. If labor fees appear to be excessive, I will question further.
