I am rejecting this response because: All of this confusion could have been avoided if my multiple calls had been returned directly. I received an EOB from the insurance noting payment was made to Wellfast on 10/2. Will I receive a refund check in the mail or a credit to my credit card? When?

I stand by my original reply. It was a courtesy on our part to allow you to supply the insurance card and file the claim after services were already rendered. Once the claim is processed, if there is a refund due, we will be happy to refund your overpayment. If you would like to expedite the process, I would encourage you to contact your insurance carrier. I apologize for any inconvenience.

Verification of verbal benefits are not a guarantee of payment from insurance carriers. This person did not have the insurance information at time of service 9/1/16 and opted to pay as self pay. information and sending the claim correctly, which can be delayed without the insurance card being provided at time of service.  The claim has to be submitted then processed by the insurance according to patient benefits. Once the claim is processed and WellFast Health receives notification from the insurance carrier, the claim can be finalized and appropriate action can take place. The insurance carrier has up to 45 days to process the claim and send notification to the providers office.
