Review: Wells sold me two pickups in a row with bad transmissions. They refuse to take responsibility.
I purchased a 2002 chevy pickup from Wells in January 2012, and it had a bad transmission, wheel bearing, and heater core. It was in the repair shop for almost half the time I owned it. I traded it in on a 2003 dodge ram 2500 that I also purchased from Wells and shortly after it started shifting bad. I am now paying $2500 for a rebuilt transmission. I contacted Wells about it and they refuse to accept any responsibility. I have not owned the truck a year yet and now have had the transmission rebuilt, new alternator and two new batteries.Desired Settlement: Pay for the transmission rebuild

We did sell this particular customer 2 trucks. the first one we actually took care of the issue as it happened immediately. the second vehicle the customer has owned for almost a year and we put a 3 month 3 thousand mile warranty on all of our vehicles. they are over that. in almost 4 years of being in business this is the first complaint we have had with the Revdex.com. we understand the customers position however the vehicle is passed its warranty coverage. we have no issues with helping our customers but we cant have an open check book during the ownership of the particular car. after the 3 month 3 thousand mile warranty is over customer has responsibility of own vehicle. especially since we have no clue how it has been driven or maintained or what it has towed. thank you so much.

Now that I have the truck back from the repair shop I now know it never shifted and functioned as it should have. It now functions perfectly. I never tow anything beyond what the truck is rated for, as was the case with the Chevy too. Oh and just so you know, additionally this month with the transmission repair, I had to replace the water pump. maintain my truck at the factory suggested intervals, which is one of the reasons it was in the transmission shop, to have the fluid changed. I may be the first to complain to the Revdex.com but there are similar complaints on other websites. When you pay $21000 for a pickup you expect it to function for more than a year.
