Re: Revdex.com Case #[redacted]
Collection Service of Nevada was assigned the above referenced account on December 18, 2013. Notice of Assignment and several...

other letters were sent with no response from the consumer.
On February 12, 2014, Collection Service of Nevada received and applied a payment that had been made directly to Radiology Consultants in the amount of $150.00. Since there had still been no response from the consumer, a letter was sent requesting them to make their payments directly to Collection Service of Nevada instead of our client.
On April 29, 2014, a payment was received from the consumer and applied in the amount of $25.00.
Attempts were made to reach the consumer by phone and mail; however the consumer did not contact Collection Service of Nevada until June 2, 2015. At that time, the consumer asked if she could settle the account for less than the balance owed and have it removed from the credit report. We informed the consumer that this particular client does not settle their accounts once it is turned over to collections, but offered to remove the account as a courtesy if it was paid in full with one lump sum. The consumer said she could not pay off the account and would need to set up payment arrangements. The consumer made a $300.00 payment that day and set up payment arrangements of $25.00 per month on the balance.
The payment arrangements were not kept and we again did not receive a response from the consumer until April 26, 2016. At that time, the consumer paid the remaining balance of $222.50 and Collection Service of Nevada provided a letter saying the account was paid in full.
Collection Service of Nevada reported all payments to the three credit bureaus on the 15th of each month. Once the account was paid in full, Collection Service of Nevada reported the debt as such. Although the consumer's position is that the account should not be on her credit report, the credit system revolves around a credit grantor receiving accurate information. We have proceeded properly under FCRA by reporting the true and accurate condition of the debt, which is paid in full.

Almost forgot:
My credit report impacts my ability to keep the job currently have. I fought for four years to find a position that would allow me to meet my basic survival needs and be fiscally responsible. Up until when this agency was paid in full, this was not possible.
I am fighting for this to be removed from my record because I'm trying protect my future by staying employed. I have never been a risk as an employee through my work or actions. I have never been fired or denied a promotion in my previous work history. This is, however, entirely possible now with this on my financial record. My inability to pay medical bills during my time as under-employed student should not shape my ability to progress on my current career track or jeopardize my continued ability to meet my current and future fiscal obligations.

Re: Revdex.com Case #[redacted]
As a courtesy, Collection Service of Nevada reported to all three credit agencies to remove account 664974 from Ms. Simmons credit report on 07/15/16.
Collection Service of Nevada has no control over the speed with which the credit bureaus process our requests. Typical time frames can be up to two months.

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
This is what I asked for when I opened my complaint.
I have copies of their responses and will gladly reopen this complaint if they fail to honor their proposed action.

Re: Revdex.com Case # [redacted]
The consumer called Collection Service of Nevada on January 6, 2017. Mr. [redacted] wanted to know why there was a remaining...

balance. Our representative explained to Mr. [redacted] that the garnishment had expired and that was the cause for the remaining balance. Mr. [redacted] then became very upset and started using profanities. Our representative informed Mr. [redacted] that if he did not stop the foul language, they would disconnect the call. Mr. [redacted] continued using profanities so the representative terminated the call.
Mr. [redacted] then called back a few minutes later and paid the account in full.
Collection Service of Nevada will note that Mr. [redacted] wants no contact from our office.

Re: Revdex.com Case #[redacted]
Collection Service of Nevada was assigned the above referenced account on September 22, 2011. Notice of Assignment and several...

other letters were sent with no response from the consumer. Also, Collection Service of Nevada did not receive any mail return.
On January 12, 2016, the consumers wife called our office and spoke to Krystal. She asked if she paid the account in full, would it be removed from credit as they were trying to buy a house. The consumers wife was told that the account would remain on credit, but would show as a paid account. The consumers wife then asked when this would be reported and was told that the credit spin is typically done on the 15th of the month. At this time, the account was paid and a receipt showing the account paid was mailed to the consumer.
The payment for $250.93 was posted to the account on January 13, 2016 therefore coding the account to reflect as paid on the credit spin that was done January 15, 2016. All indicators show that this was reported as a paid account. Collection Service of Nevada has no control on the time the Credit Bureaus take to update their records.
On January 28, 2016 , the consumers wife called Collection Service of Nevada and spoke to Amanda and [redacted]. The consumers wife insisted that she was told the account would be removed from credit and not just reflect as paid. In speaking to the consumers wife, [redacted] explained that she was told the account would reflect as paid but as a courtesy, [redacted] would have the account coded to remove from credit on the next credit spin. This credit spin is being done on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 as February 15, 2016 is a holiday. Again, Collection Service of Nevada has no control over the speed with which the credit bureaus process our requests. Typical time frames can be up to two months.
