Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2015/08/27) */ customer brought in his YVFin none running order because it had sat for many yearsI cleaned carbs, than found out gas tank was rusted, the battery was junk and it was missing screws in plasticthe was a years that customer was out of countyand when he did come and ask for bike it was put away in storage because it was winteras far as battery being bad that is untrue it was a brand new interstate batterythe customer requested a used fuel pump so that is what I installedso bike was at my shop extra amount of time do to trying to find a pumpthan I treated the gas tank with a professional cleaning kit with a sealerand as far as bike not running that is not true because I drove it to his house Initial Consumer Rebuttal / [redacted] (3000, 7, 2015/08/31) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) First of all the bike had only sat over the winter before I took it to get a tune upI have records of thisIt ran it just ran roughI had left the country for two years and my wife and I had stayed in contact frequently and continued to get the run aroundI came back to the states in April it was not winter! As far as him riding it to my houseThat did not happenI have neighbors that seen him drop it off on a trailerWhen I went to get the keyHe told me to charge the battery and put gas in it and it would startThat did not happen!! I currently have this bike at a repair shopI have pictures of the carbs that were damaged by him scraping with a screw driverThe gas tank was never fixedThe battery was no goodThe fuel pump does not pump any gasMy new mechanic is well aware of this situationhe is taking pictures and documenting everything

I had left the country for two years and my wife and I had stayed in contact frequently and continued to get the run around. I came back to the states in April it was not winter! As far as him riding it to my house. That did not happen. I have neighbors that seen him drop it off on a trailer. When I went to get the key. He told me to charge the battery and put gas in it and it would start. That did not happen!! I currently have this bike at a repair shop. I have pictures of the carbs that were damaged by him scraping with a screw driver. The gas tank was never fixed. The battery was no good. The fuel pump does not pump any gas. My new mechanic is well aware of this situation. he is taking pictures and documenting everything.
