the port and brought it to our yard in Tukwila where we arranged for him to come and unload the container into his personal vehicle, this is not typically a practice that we engage in due to liability issues, but the customer (Mr. [redacted]) was desperate and so we agreed, the day he was to arrive to trans load his things he called and stated that his truck broke down, I assured him that wasn't a problem but did advise that the container was only allowed so many days off dock and I explained the process for per diem on the container his comment was there is nothing I can do but I will advise when my truck is fixed and I can get there. Approximately 4 days later he arrived and was given the container and unloaded, he went on and on about the fact that nothing was explained to him but again when I asked him he just said the broker never told him that he couldn't go into the port and unload his can not was he advised of the additional charges involved I explained that the broker should have advised him of all the charges and apologized he took 2 days to unload his things and when he left he left a large crate and 2 garbage bags full of garbage on our dock and on the ground I sent his invoice with the charges and advised that if the items he left were not retrieved that we would dispose of them and send him the bill for disposal. He called several days after receiving the bill threatening to take us to small claims court because the bill was to high I explained in great detail the charges and what they were and offered to pay with credit card but as I advised we do not accept credit cards as this business didn't use them as we are paid by ACH or paper checks I explained he could pay with a check or money order and or a cashier check at which point he became verbally abusive and irate I again apologized for any misunderstanding but assured him that we do not bill for things we do not do an that his unhappiness should be directed at the broker for not being honest with him. At which time he hung up on mew and  I received an email that was address to a bogus attorney I responded to the email explaining the circumstances and received a check in the mail approximately 9 days later Wells Trucking has been in business since 1987 and we have built a reputation of good customer service an quality work, I'm sorry Mr. [redacted] is upset but  as I said Wells trucking is a reputable company and we do not over charge for anything just the work that we do the real complaint should be with the broker he hired to move his things from overseas not with Wells Trucking
