Last July we purchased a [redacted] leather recliner was defective store tried to fix it but after 2 attempts stopped helping us owner won't return call We purchased a [redacted] leather recline from this store after delivery we notice the chair was unlevel and had a large wrinkle in the seat after sitting in it We called the store and they sent a person out to see the problem A furniture repair person was sent out with a new part, added stuffing & tightened the leather on the seat I put a level onto the chair after the tech was done and both agreed it was still not level and again the seat leather was still wrinkled I called the store and a few weeks later the same tech came out put in some part, tried to add stuffing again and stapled it again. Again the chair was still unlevel. I still have shims under it. Wrinke remains, in fact the fabric is torn on the inside the right side of the seat, the part that's tucked into the side by the arm. that may be why the wrinkle remains. The owner of Wells wrote me an email stating she has done all she is going to do and referred me to the manufacturer. After many emails to her and the [redacted] corporation I still have not received any help. I found out the name of the new president of [redacted] furniture, ïï??ï?? [redacted] I sent in that letter photos & ïï??ï??correspondence between Mrs [redacted] and myself, but I have not had a response from that letter sent March 10 2014. This was a very expensive chair and the company and retailer should respond and help the consumer. We don't know where else to go, so our only course of action was to report this to the Revdex.com. Desired SettlementWe would appreciate if the company would either replace this very chair or refund our money. The fact that the store owner washes her hands from the situation leaves us owning a defective chair. We paid almost $900 and expect it to be excellent. This chair was on sale and on the floor of the store, but showed no sign of a problem. We sat in it but sitting in a chair for a moment of two doesn't show it had a problem. It wasn't until the chair was in our living room that the problem showed up. Business Response We are sending all of this information to [redacted] Furniture, and will do whatever they tell us to doConsumer Response I see this complaint shows it is closed. I don't know what that means. I have not received any resolution for this problem with my chair. I have not heard back directly from the store, Wells Waysode Furniture or the [redacted] Co. Please keep this complaint open.
